Exactly, these vehicles should be measured less with miles per gallon and more for hours of operation per gallon.

The Postal Service daily requirements are about the farthest thing from a “sympathetic” driving route.
I’m 32 and never really cared for sprinkles until the past year or so. I’ve come to enjoy the texture they add to simple desserts like a frosted donut or a plain scoop of ice cream.
I think this is more a recognition that their vehicles are overpriced.
Aw, now you’re making me blush.
I just want to mention that Jake is the man who taught me how to wrench over 20 years ago. He was the president of JMU’s car club, I was founder of UVA’s.
We became friends; now we’re both involved in automotive media. Small world.
The dude is awesome.
Right? The saddest part about this article is that this overt display of toxic masculinity is barely visible due to the rest of the bullshit Kalmowitz wrote.
There is an entire division of GMG dedicated to get people to stop calling women fat, but here in a headline, it is totally fine to pick on a man for being bald.
You know what people have choices about? It certainly isn’t going bald naturally or getting cancer and going bald.
“Any boy can grow hair. It takes a real man to lose it.”
Besides, money can buy hair. Case in point, Musk.
As a middle-aged dude with a full head of hair that still looks like it did 20 years ago, I still think it’s a huge dick move to make fun of anyone for losing their hair.
yes checked with paper. i once drove from houston to austin and got 38.5 mpg and was not going slow. Overall the computer was 0.5-1mpg better than paper calculations for my car
I do mine by calculation, not the trip computer, and I ALWAYS get 30 mpg even when I’m driving like an ass. I get 35 mpg when I’m nice to it. Mine is a 2019 6MT.
My 2019 GTI’s fuel economy calculations tend to be optimistic by 1-3 mpg. My CX-5, OTOH, tends to be accurate within a couple tenths of an mpg.
This is one of the reasons in 2016 i got a GTI. one of the many. But the WRX is known for getting even worse mileage than its rated at and the GTI can consistently get better. Mine with a tune making 330hp was capable on getting 39mpg on the way to work with traffic
You missed the EJ22, and the Frankenstein mod of putting the EJ22 heads (along with some ECU and wiring hacks) on an EJ25 for higher compression and horsepower.
I’ll take “’upgrades’ that are noticeably uglier than the original” for $200, Alex.
Unless you can change the color to something besides the blue in this DIY set-up, I’d stick with the more basic look. That color would be too harsh on my eyes at night.
Elizabeth wins this round. I’d probably go with the Model 3 for the sedan, though.
Holy shit they actually designed a not ugly vehicle for a change.
