I mean, you could simplify -any- game in a way that it sounds boring or rehashed or not creative...
Trends can be nice. Creativity can be found in small details, too.

It’s a all-in-one game engine; You can modelize, compose, “code”, etc. Everything you do can be shared as assets for others to use in their projects and such.
So I could make a fully functioning Sonic character with behaviors and animations, you could make a level and import my Sonic character into it while using…
I have it and still can’t answer your questions
I think the same way. I’d do stuff on Dreams if it was a PC engine, but it being limited to a console is just...not helping. I modeled a bit, did the tutorials, became discouraged from constantly fighting with the controls and then came back to Unity.
It’s a great game/tool, but I still regret buying it at all
I never got very far into the game as a kid as I didn’t understand English much, but the music sure did hit me hard... I was very impressed by how the graphics were a notch higher than anything else on the Snes (to me, at least).
I used to play on emulators alone in the basement; played nearly every RPG games on snes…
The word ain’t an issue by itself, but in most cases, it’s used with the intention to insult. Many words are like that, obviously, but this one is a easy one to moderate since it’s so rarely used in a honest, good context.
Definitely not “perfect”, and that’s exactly why they’re great at what they do.
They are hellbent on offering a precise experience (and that’s exactly what I want) and that comes with limitations that will leave a bunch of players left out and disrespected.
To me, it’s the price to pay for that they give us, and…
Not sure why you’d put Sekiro in there; it’s definitely not the same genre of games. It’s much more Action than RPG and offer an entirely different fantasy...
I mean, I have friends who’ve played every Souls game multiple times and they won’t even touch Sekiro because it’s not the same.
I have the same thoughts about Sekiro as you.
I’m not sure Sekiro can be compared with the others considering the lack of builds, stats and such. Feels much more like an action game than a RPG. Definitely has the bosses and atmosphere down, though.
It definitely felt more like Ninja Gaiden and Megaman (bosses with gimmick weaknesses) than a Souls for me, and gosh…
Nioh is definitely too arcade to be a “soulsborne”
It’s really just an action/rpg loot game with stamina combat without the atmosphere and mistery of souls in general
That’s the thing: They have the Battle Pass, which is pretty close to a subscription already. So of what I understand, you’d have the Battle Pass and a subscription, independantly
Not “everything” for sure, that wouldn’t work imo.
What is happening and what will probably happen (I think?) is that every major publishers/companies will have at least 1 live service (blizzard gets WoW, Sony have ps+, Epic have Fortnite and Dauntless, etc.
It’s great when you feel respected. WoW and FFXIV haven’t felt bad to me so far, but PS+, Xbox Live, Battle Pass, Season Pass...
It makes me feel stressed and punished. I rather not play at all than being constantly pressured while I play
Too much love for the Dragon God
TOO MUCH!
Kidding aside, I hope Elden Rings brings some original bosses like DS experimented with!
Guitar Hero, Just Dance, Muramasa The Demon Blade, Okami, Monster Hunter Tri, Xenoblade Chronicles
all non-exclusive except Xeno, I think. But hey, I’m the guy who finishes most if not all of his games and I never really buy a lot of em.
I did rent some though, I can’t say which one. Out of my mind : Red Steel, The Last…
It feels very american to me. Is there a “console war” in the eastern countries, too?
This. Thank for putting it in words so clearly!
Glad you said it... Man, single-player games being constantly updated with content would be such a mess. I already have problems with DLCs, punishing me for buying the game when it came out (as I don’t really replay single-player games once I finish it)
God of War (2018) was a breath of fresh air.
Well, I don’t understand why you don’t understand either. Having difficulty settings keeps the question “should I make it harder or easier” in your mind while you play and struggle or “face roll”.
It breaks immersion, keeps you in doubt, might make you not use certain tools the game gives you, etc.
They can add…
