Difficulty settings are a bane for some people (ok maybe only me). I never know what is the intended experience (unless it’s written), and I do not want to choose the difficulty (cause I suck at choosing, it never really works, I play the whole game never knowing if it was the right choice or if I’m missing

Come on, it’s pretty short-sighted to think this way. They can just use -any- other screenshots from any of the areas in the trailer

You’re not listening to the souls fanbase; you’re listening to the hardcore/completionist/competitive fanbase and they are anywhere, in most games...

I am an extremely anxious, stressed and troubled person and I’ve always been. Yet, games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne calms me. They stimulate my mind fully, they

Although I am aware that I’ll probably never understand (and that is -fine-), I have trouble understanding how Bloodborne can be fun when “cheesing”or mega-optimizing bosses. I always thought that the reasons these games were so good is the immersion (which is, to me, achieved mainly through the difficulty, tension

...What? or you could, you know, play Doom and whatever you want because it’s fun for you. Doom and CoD are not really comparable, and the experience and targeted audience aren’t the same for sure.

I -really- doubt a lot of people play CoD or similar games for the fantasy of shooting people. I at least never saw

Probably laziness. Sounds, musics, textures, etc. are probably too heavy due to bad work or w/e...

Of what I understand, Warzone uses Modern Warfare assets, so even if you play only Warzone, you still have the whole stuff from MW.

Nomura and Yoshida..? I feel bad for not knowing that they’re the ones working on FFXVI...

Yoshida as done so much amazing things with FFXIV, I can’t wait to see what they’ll do with FFXVI!

The art and trailer had some Ivalice/FF tactics vibes and I’m so all in for this!

People seems to say they are being dishonest or at least making excuses, but gosh I am happy they did that for exactly the reason they mentioned. It’s not dishonest if it’s the main reason they thought of doing that. The rest is just a bonus.

I am so confused with their early access data... what do they think it represents? Because I have a -lot- of friends that are Baldur’s Gate fans and none of us are going to touch the early access.

So it mostly represent the early access public...which is not exactly representative of the whole thing at all (at least,

It’s online only, but I could be wrong

you don’t need to chat nor talk; coordination is not required, but it’s definitely more fun if you get a good partner

Well said. Comparing Uematsu and Soken just doesn’t work...

I keep coming back to FFXIV mostly for the music, and that’s god damn impressive

Really can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not

It seems strange to compare the two... They’re quite different in style and Soken’s range is soooooo vast.

To the edge, Ruby Weapon theme and Hades theme have been the best recent music from FFXIV for me... To the edge has been in my head for 3 god damn months now

Combat is amazing, but difficulty is only present when doing the “Spiral of Abyss” which is a gauntlet/arena.

Exactly my experience! Counter-intuitively, I spend much more time on a simple character creator than on a complex one.

Isn’t it like...early access? You can be -certain- I wouldn’t pass much time on the character creator when it’s not my actual “real” game. They should have released the character creator as a standalone before launching the game (like FFXIV did back then)

I dare say that’s the biggest reason why people made bland

I’m glad it’s not their priority, to be honest.

I’m surprised you can’t think of a good reason to not have voice chat available. I mean, just consider opening the door to an implemented voice chat; you’d indirectly encourage vocal coordination in a game that tries very, very hard to create an in-game ecosystem that

I’m on board with you. I’d even push as far as not wanting it to be available at all; just so I’m not pressured into using it...

I mean, that’s one of the reason I like Nintendo. The online features are toned down, which is a nice change of pace.

Plus, lack of means to communicate encourage creativity in the way you

I get what you’re saying, really; But real life threats and stuff like that are just wrong. Not asking for world peace here, just that company stop making shit decisions about it.

There’s plenty of violence in the world, it doesn’t mean we should do nothing about it. Should be the same for dangerous toxicity like
