I don’t think this is very similar. If you want modern Aztek, look at the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. That shares a bit of DNA with the Walter-White-Mobile.

That would be a Renault Twizy. It weighs about half a ton, has no driver aids of any kind and the crash safety of a crumpled coke can. You just feel like you’re in constant danger when riding next to a two-ton SUV that has the door handles where your whole “car” ends.

I just don’t see it being viable.

I just don’t see it being viable. Giving up a concept that is nearly 15 years old due to changing circumstances is not what I’d call “not boding well”.

Yup, charging standards are slowly starting to equalise, but stocking multiple batteries for any model of EV wherever there’s a charger right now sounds like a nightmare. Not to mention you probably need a different robot for most cars.

This thing is pretty attractive in that funky orange. Too bad pretty much no one will choose to buy it. But then again with the cash to buy this might come some maturity...

The Chinese-Made ones actually seem better than the US ones. Maybe because the factory isn’t a tent?

If you look what 997 you can get for under 20k, they’re all crashed or have some major issue. 911s hold their value pretty well and I don’t think the 997 will sink much lower to be honest.

Even with a new IMS, I‘d worry about the engine at 156k. It‘s probably wiser to just put that money aside for a new engine.

If you are handy and get a good PPI, this could be cheaper than a sorted one once you‘ve figured out the gremlins.

I wouldn‘t bother with the IMS bearing with that mileage and just put the money aside for an engine replacement. At 156k, there isn‘t just the IMS bearing to worry about and it would be really annoying to replace it and have the engine fail a few months later.

That‘s pretty much the cheapest running and driving 997 that isn’t beat to hell I‘ve ever seen. I‘d absolutely buy a sorted, lower mileage one at that price, but there‘s no chance you’ll find one. In a few years maybe, but the price seems fair.

I don‘t think these will go much lower than that, at least not running and driving. Porsche 911s don‘t seem to hit rock bottom, unless something is seriously wrong with it.

Even if it had the bearing done, you have to put money aside for a used new engine if you buy Porsche at 156k. That‘s a lot of mileage for a high-strung, german engine.

If you buy a Porsche with 156k, you have to expect the engine to go at some point, IMS bearing or not. At this mileage, I don’t think the chance of it failing is any higher than some other part giving up.

The delay is a long story. They had collaborated with Artega initially and then ended up separating after a lawsuit.

What do you mean by low speed roads? Europe has a lot of 50mph roads and if you can‘t use these, you couldn’t go anywhere. Should motorcycles be restricted to low speed roads as well? They are even less safe and much faster. The L7e category is already established in Europe with some similar models (Renault Twizy for

Oh yeah, obviously they won’t use 8gb, also because it fails too quickly. I though you were asking for a free MCU2 upgrade, which would be a little weird...

Why would you try to shift the blame on a recall? They fucked up, replace the part and move on...

Do you know any manufacturer that gives you a free upgrade on a recall? They just replace the faulty part with one that won’t fail, no need to be generous here IMO, other manufacturers aren't either.
