I generally know what I like and I can't be bothered to "risk" a big screen movie especially when its $17 or whatever. Anyway, Arrival, Hell or high water, and Hacksaw Ridge all surpassed what I thought they'd be. And in another way, Suicide Squad, which had been universally savaged but I more or less enjoyed myself.

A comedian talking about Trump! My goodness! The temerity!

Epic music swells as Magneto LIFTS SOME METAL!!!!

Fuck all y'all, it was Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman fighting Doomsday.

THE DARK SIDE DOES NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL

He took a Mark Wahlberg-esque approach to the situation.

My mistake. I meant AUSTRALIAN magic flying space hammer viking god, whee!

Yeah it is. Thought it was kind of weird it was on Netflix so fast, and I've long since given up on following Marvel movies, but it killed a rainy evening!

Will Blade Runner 2049 be the first movie where companies DON'T want their logos featured? Sony and Microsoft must be sweating this out hoping they don't get the call.

Ha ha I watched the new Captain America where he sorta flirts with Elizabeth Olsen but she's apparently more into the purple robot guy.

Yeah, it was fine, serviceable, watchable etc. Let's not forget that having a prequel that isn't terrible is still a pretty good achievement, all things considered.

The Counselor is about as romantic as Ridley gets

Jeremy Renner reads this : "Uh, its ARROWS, thank you very much"

Not sure I'm getting the snark here. Stuff like Alien and Blade Runner does feel "real" because he takes the time to world-build and create a believable premise and doesn't rush into non-stop action. There's a bit of a difference between this and "Here's a magic flying space hammer viking god, whee!"

I can't wait for the part where it goes to commercial, and the camera zooms in on Arnold to utter his legendary catchphrase…"I'LL BE RETURNING!"

OK let's do this. Let me know if I picked anything ineligible etc

Jeez mom, boundaries! Can't I get more than ONE DAY away from you?

I got an $8 book that I couldn't return to the store!

I figured it would at least be in the ballpark of an average Resident Evil movie. Who the fuck watches those things?

"Oh man, gotta check out the new TJ Miller movie!" - a sentence no human has ever said, or will ever say.
