Eh…looks pretty generic. There's a vague bad guy doing some vague bad stuff? Doesn't seem to be much of a hook here.

The Burton/Nola fight came close, and I think DOES top it in terms of action choreography, but yeah overall the MMA thing is the best.
Hell, how did he walk out of the riverbed with a broken leg? He could have at least had Burton help him get to a main road and THEN casually snap his neck!
It was a classic case of Proctor just Going Too Far (TM). He always had power over the town, but stayed behind the scenes. When he took over an actual legitimate position of power - Mayor (by running unopposed!), it moves him up the ladder to the point where he can contact a corrupt senator and the cartel.
But,…
They did do Origins this year - they're all on youtube
There was a trailer for Greg Yaitanes' new show Quarry tonight. Seems worth a look.
Oh yeah, Burton's dolls! A minor last-minute detail that gives more terrifying insight into the mind of everyone's favorite "butler"
Shit, we never got a Job-Burton scene, did we? One can only dream of how it might go. "Nice tie, motherfucker."
Great ending to a weak season. Many Classic Banshee moments - Brock with a bazooka (possibly a nod to the Season 1 finale where he inadvertantly caused more bazooka havoc), Hood vs Burton, Bunker vs Bunker, Proctor with a random tommy gun? OK, sure. And everyone pretty much gets a satisfactory sendoff scene. Frankly…
I agree, Hood vs Burton didn't reach those heights of insanity it should have. Everyone wanted to see that showdown since the first season and the end result was kinda…OK.
That's the name Hood gave to the cop in the interrogation room. I think it was in a Banshee origins episode.
Well she was only on it for this last season, and it was the worst season. But if you're a (presumably male) fan, there are a couple of scenes you'll want to, erm, pay close attention to.
The finale is good. It felt like classic Banshee, whereas the rest of the season did not.
That was season 3 I believe (same ep as the Burton/Nola fight). My favorite, I just go straight to the Hood vs Sanchez fight in episode 3. I still didn't know what kind of TV show this was or whether I'd be on board for the whole thing. But, Holy fuck, that was one of the most insane fight scenes I've seen in any…
He's "bigger" as in taller, but he's skinny as fuck. Even WITH muscles. I concur, there's no thug/brawler in him, and you need at least a little bit of that for the role (the Roger Moore winking comedy era aside).
You're assuming anything in this article is actually true.
Yeah, this nonsense has been going on for 30 years. It used to happen between every Roger Moore film as he hemmed and hawed over coming back until they eventually paid him more. And of course they even called his bluff by having James Brolin screentest for Octopussy!
I would argue that in FRWL they were still figuring it out; they essentially were just copying Hitchcock. Goldfinger is where James Bond truly begins.
No argument from me. But then again I have Roger Moore as my 2nd fave so who knows what the hell I'm talking about.
No no, the Brosnan pattern was bad, bad, bad, HAHA WTF LOL OK sure
