There’s an easy way everyone can wi in this: bring back cheat codes. Level skip/unlock everything. Boom. problem solved. I miss cheats.

I feel like this would be really hard to implement, especially in some open-world games that don’t necessarily have properly defined levels, or where missions can occur contextually based on your actions in the rest of the game. Like... how would this apply to Fallout 3? Although I suppose in that game the only real

Yeah, I’m Black and my hair moves. Why do people think Black people hair doesn’t move?

I know that complaining about things in articles is easier than actually fixing them by making your own art, but I did read Evan’s article, and that is my advice to him.

If you can’t expect a group of white males to portray other people accurately, your opinion of white people must be extremely low.

It’s not OK to make racist caricatures or insult another race. It’s also not reasonable to expect a group made up primarily of white males to always accurately represent what it’s like to be someone that is not a white male.

I loved Assassins Creed Liberation for one reason it had some game mechanics I liked like the disguises that give you different abilities. But also it gave you a good look at what New Orleans was like at that time. Also as you pointed out it was interesting reading Aveline’s mother’s letters and seeing how she

He mentioned indie developers, and nebulously explained that “black people won’t congeal together to make games, probably,” but he didn’t explain why he and his friends couldn’t make a game, right?

Thanks for your follow-up post. I didn’t want to insult Evan, but I didn’t want to patronize him, either. His problem has such a simple solution, I felt silly putting it any other way than I did.

Evan, do you know why games don’t show black people the way you wish they did? Because not enough black people are making games for that to happen. Instead of posting thirty page articles on how games don’t feature your favorite hairstyle often enough, get a group of your black friends together, and make fucking game.

Hair is hard to do in videogames, this has nothing to do with finding the “proper hair”. It’s even harder when you try to have different hair styles apart from the straight down or short wavey look (since game characters mainly have those hair styles).

The game doesn’t let you upload it unless you yourself manage to beat it. I’m at least glad Nintendo thought that far ahead.

Uhh, screw that - Zelda Maker and Metroid Maker would both be far, far better.

Oh god. I can imagine this tactic catching on with more scam artists and legit devs alike.

There were also a discussion about how the hints to solve the first level was in the “trading cards”. This means players have to either spend more than two hours to grab those card drops which is more than the refund period. Or they buy the cards from the market where the dev and valve gets a small portion of the

Except this bill isn’t about their constitutional rights when accused of a crime in the legal system. This is about their rights when facing judgmental from a campus tribunal system that operates outside the legal system. That’s like, the point of the bill.

Quite the opposite, I think. Once the police have concluded their investigation, there would be a clear cut precedent for proceeding on the case, so the school’s decision could be swift and with authority. Or do you think that schools have better investigative resources than the police, and are more likely to be able

So for what crimes, in your opinion, should accused people not be afforded protection? Are you generally against the bedrock of the American legal system, or do you just oppose it in certain cases?

Do you always advocate vigilantism, or only in the case of rape?

Except for the Title IX twisting crap, I have zero problem with anything I’ve read about this bill.
