I’m not saying you’re wrong. I said myself that I’m not speaking on moral grounds, because I’ve done it to. However, you’re deluding yourself if you think no one tries to take a high ground to their piracy. People often act with outright offense at devs or publishers trying to protect their product while giving piracy

I touch a little on this in another post, but I still feel that theft is theft. Not claiming I’ve never done it, mind you. But digital goods generate this debate in ways other products don’t. If you feel that the cost of food at your favorite restaurant has gone up, you can bring your money elsewhere. What you can not

This doesn’t bother me in the slightest. Theft is theft. I’m not saying this to be judgemental. I wade in murky emulation waters, and who hasn’t ripped it torrented some music? I’m just saying good on the content creators for trying to protect their assets. I’m not a huge fan of DRM, but I see it as a reaction to the

I installed it on my Xbox 1. I've been thinking about firing it up again, for old time's sake.

It’s US $9.99 on psn. Assuming this version has the normal visual bump, cloud saving, etc (and runs as a complete game without “disc swapping”) I’m alright with it. I’d honestly drop $30 in this if it came to 3DS it Vita.

They actually tend to have a lot more RAM, though the processors aren’t quite as strong yet.

Honestly, most phones have specs well above what’s needed to emulate a ps1. They outpace the Vita in terms of raw power. Since this isn’t a total remake, I think it’s well within reason that the two versions will be equally good.

Jason, I tip my hat to you for showing love for Eternal Blue. I love Silver Star Story, but I feel like that is the only Lunar that gets any notice anymore. I feel like the scope and design of the sequel expanded and improved on its predecessor.

My god. This isn’t a platformer anymore. It’s a diabolical puzzler. I shall pray for you good sir.

Sadly, we are suffering part due to being in the west. So these releases come out of left field and seem like a step back. A lot of what hit iOS and android (and steam after), if it wasn’t a direct port of a DS or PSP release, came from feature phone games and assets in Japan. That’s why Dimensions looks decent on

He actually looks badass at serious moments. The art style jumps around lol

I kind of feel like ordering used from GameStop is spotty at best. You lose all agency. At least in store you know whether or not there is a case, and you can ask to inspect and test game.

Me either, but I do have smaller competing chains in the form of Game Xchange and Retro Games Plus in my area.

If you’re using an emulator, I think the gba version with the music, font, and color fix patches is the best version of this game.

There’sa fan retranslation, which comes with a number of other patches, if you’re inclined. It’s for the PS1 version. I’m not sure what the mod community is like for the PC version.

Prepared to raise your voice? It takes true courage to yell at people for daring to have fun.

Only two call themselves Spider Man? Did Miguel not make it through Secret Wars? I was following his stand alone prior to Secret Wars, but I fell behind.

And Colonial Marines -.-

This would be the fifth time for me (Steam, iOS, Amazon, Google Play) and I regret nothing. I really love this game. I hope they follow through with a Vita version, as that’s the platform I want it for.

The biggest problem, for me, was the multiple styles. Some of it is redrawn. Some of it is raw snes with a little spitshine. It’s awkward. I was actually able to tolerate it on my phone. I prefer this translation, and a few of the features are nice and convenient. The cloud saves, the bestiary and music player, the
