Profit, i guess?

That Nintendo did "for the movie?" That's sort of always been Bowser's thing lol

I agree that this consolidation is troubling. But, I also can’t help but arch an eyebrow at the arguments Sony tries to make. It’s bold of them to complain about the woes of game exclusivity (while being offered a ten yr deal), when they hinge their console strategy on “we have the best exclusives.” I’ve grown sick

This isn’t so much a Nintendo thing as a console thing. I do get how it is jarring if you’ve been offline gaming or coming from PC. As an example - Elden Ring just released a colosseum update for PvP battles. If you’re on Steam, you can just download the update and go check that out. If you’re on PS or Xbox, and DON’T

Um... The other platforms have paid online services as well, which are required for online play. Heck, there was a time you needed to be subbed to access Netflix in some cases. I can’t remember if that was Xbox or Playstation, but it was pretty dumb. Also, the other subs are pretty expensive. Granted, they’re also

To be fair, that Dragon Ball example of poor representation is less a Japan issue and more a Texas-born one. That’s how Funimation chose to dub him. To my understanding, Kira’s name pun is in conjunction with Jewel (kilojoule). The dub leaned into a certain negative stereotype much harder than it should. The character

Yea, I don’t know what you were thinking. This is the internet, and people have a new cause to fight for...for a day or two until they forget.

I absolutely do not think she locked in anything approaching that. Multiple peers of hers who also are of note in the industry have said around $1000/day is standard. Unless this game required her to put in 2-3 months of work (keep in mind Hellena said the prior games took her all of 4 days).

I’m a mobile gamer, and I'll try to answer your question - I think it is a heavily individual and case by case situation. For me, it supplements other gaming. The first thing, to me, is defining “mobile gaming.” To many, that brings up images of gacha-dependent microtransaction-filked monstrosities. And there are

I didn’t even realize Netflix HAD games haha. Maybe just because I tend to watch their content on a console. I’m honestly shocked there is a mobile port of Into the Breach on Android I didn’t even hear about. I’ve been hoping for them to port their other great, FTL, for years (I preferred it on my ancient gen 2 iPad

Yep, it's pretty obvious who to send. Keeping Mordin alive is the only iffy part for me, but I generally send him back with the crew survivors and that usually keeps him safe. And, of course, never listen to Jacob lol

Couldn’t you say the same about any review or general entertainment magazine/website? As someone notes below, he doesn’t do much with clips that Siskel & Ebert didn’t use to do. And let’s not get into the amount of footage “influencers” use. I completely agree with you if we’re talking about game streamers, honestly.

Sup Conker! Rare seeing another red squirrel in these parts.

I love ME1, but the one thing that always sticks in the back of my mind is how much like KOTOR it feels. Which isn’t the most uncommon thing. There are plenty of examples of games on a new platform cribbing some structure from the prior succesful studio game while they focus on playing with new gameplay and graphics

I actually think it’s worse than that.

Actually, you have to have a clean license and pass a criminal background check to work in waste management for a city. It's a government job under the department of sanitation.

The Wii U eShop is still active. Two versions of this game are still on sale, and there are rumors of an impending Mario collection of some sort that might have this. Either way, this isn't some abandoned title. A mod is one thing but distributing an entire game is OBVIOUSLY going to invite a letter from legal.

My child is a little older, so I would suggest...Stardew Valley! I’ve never seen him more focused, and suddenly he knows how to properly clean his room the first time without me having to have him make a second pass 😂

Yu-Gi-Oh! seems to do decent. Has had numerous releases, including a Switch release a little ways back. And has two mobile games. Duel Generations and Duel Links. Duel Links in particular is streamlined and voiced by dub actors, and seems aimed at smacking people in the nostalgia. It's still actively supported.
