Very true. They pulled back on OG before Atlus went to Sega. They aren’t big on niche market products, which sadly means they don’t release a good deal of their content in the west.

I think they stopped caring about the western audience. Yes the rights issues are rough, but then we don’t get the G Generation games or anything in SRW’s Original Generation line. I guess the GBA and DS stuff didn’t sell to their liking, so they won’t even try a modern console localization.

This has to be an Activision decision. Still, I can’t stress enough how much people should not buy this! Level 25? Just play the game a couple of times. The leveling, up to 40, is REALLY fast. I hit 40 the day after TTK launched. The week prior I got an alt I’d had sitting around level 10 up to 34 in a couple of

I’m so glad I bought it on 3DS before the rights shuffle. Only version I need.

You’ve answered your own question. For those in the US who played it in 1994 of 1999, that was the translation first given to us. The PS1 release uses that translation, so I’m sure some in Europe have nostalgia for your 2002 release. The retranslation (which, for the record, I do prefer) was done in 2007 for the GBA

There’s even a Woolsey/Slattery (SNES, GBA) compromise script patch.

VGBA works wonders.

I get where you’re coming from. Thank you for the reply.

He said they did include South Africans in their casting call. They aren’t allowed to select the person who hands in the best audition? “We’re going to have to go with someone who didn’t match our vision, because the veteran actor who did happens to be from America. Oh well.”

I personally don’t see this particular medium as being the place for that battle. The devs create a character. It’s not the same as live action representation. If that where the case, we should be having serious discussion on all the adult women voicing young male characters. They cast who can affect the voice they

You can also just pop a Wii disc in, if you already own it.

I'm sad...I just wiped them out today, and found PAM after (hadn't noticed her before lol). Ohhhh wellll

I don’t know how they approach TOR for canon, but it’s perhaps notable that Shadow of Revan came out just under a year ago. That was well after they established their new continuity policy.

I agree. I read the earlier books and read into some lore online, so it all tied in well I’m my mind. But the games themselves played loose with that stuff and expected you to read. That kind of thing didn’t start with 343.

That’s called a “computer.”

I *think* Lords of the Sith came out as part of the new canon. It alludes to it, with Vader at one point considering letting Palpatine die and Palpatine praising him for it. Also, at one point they briefly cross blades and Palpatine asks something like “has it finally come to this?”

With an eye on retconning, I took those things (aside from the obvious underdeveloped plot threads) to show sort of the established cover view. Palpatine is the “president” (supreme chancellor) turned emperor, mired in politics. Vader is the mysterious enforcer that lacks a rank but enforces the emperor’s agenda and

But was he a simple observer? I do admit there is room for interpretation (and that is without getting into arguments about canon tiers). However, Vader was depicted as being present in strategy sessions. He was aware of the intended target, as (in the novel at least) he suggested conferring first with Palpatine.

It’s important to remember Sith relationships. Vader’s direct power would be limited, as Sidious wouldn’t want him to become a direct threat... In the way Tarkin was being encouraged to by Motti, if we go by the novel of A New Hope. That said, Vader was a long time associate of Tarkin’s, going back to his Jedi days.

This line of thought only really applies to consoles. And the justification speaks to hardware limitations that should disappear as we move forward. The first thing I did when I bought my new laptop last year was install Starcraft/Brood War. When I upgrade my phone or tablet, I go into my purchase history and download
