This has, sadly been the way they have handled things from the start. The way they structure the game can't handle individual instances for where folks are at with their play through. So, basically, story-specific patrol events are discarded when a new expansion comes out.

I completely agree. Blops 2 was very underrated, likely due to the general CoD fatigue settling in amongst many aside from the multi-player - only die hard fans.

It won’t be useless. Thanks to reforge (wanted Tripod and cluster) I have a non maxed or ascended Radegasts Fury atm that I use successfully when I want a different exotic from my ghorn. It may not melt certain bosses as quickly, but it won’t be “useless. "

I’m honestly not sure if I’m excited or upset. This is all very positive strides forward for the game.
