Yep

Now before everybody jumps on here and says he looks like what you’d expect a 4Chan tough guy to look like, hear me out...

He looks exactly like I would expect a 4Chant tough guy to look like.

Commenting solely to say the same thing. Was watching on a desktop and it would pause itself if I had the audacity to click on anything else and not give the video the 100% attention it surely deserves. This was the first Kotaku video I watched, and it will most def be the last.

Why do you have to say “the straights”? Your prejudice is just as awful as the people who are review bombing. I am straight, and I thoroughly enjoyed the episode. I never once thought what a fantastic depiction of queer love. I only thought about how beautiful a depiction it was of an excellent relationship.

I guess I have officially graduated to “old and out of touch”.
After reading this whole post, I can only summarize it as “I get it, but I really don’t get it”.

Hasbro owns Wizards of the Coast, so it’s technically true, but Wizards is still a corporate entity of their own with their own CEO, management, and employees. Hasbro does own D&D, but I wouldn’t insist on that kind of labeling or call it “more accurate”, or else you end up with things like “Yum Brands introduces a

Still shouldn’t be authorized. Authorizing crunch creates a culture in which it is unofficially encouraged and there’s a lot of pressure on people to participate. Crunch should not exist, period. The video game industry is not an industry that has super sudden requirements that have horrible consequences if not met,

this is a great story, but gamers are still toxic.

This isn’t skepticism, this is conspiracism. If you aren’t familiar with the game’s history, then yes, *thousands* of positive reviews pouring in the moment the game goes on Steam looks pretty hinky. But it turns out to have a pretty straightforward, public, and easily verifiable answer why it’s legitimate.

What exactly do you mean by a “real” job? Are you trying to say that your job is somehow more real than hers or did you put the quotations because you understand that that’s not really the correct contextual word? “Traditional” job might be apt, but illustrator is a very real job, it takes time, effort, mental

That’s Blizzard passing the buck. In the end, it’s Blizzard’s game, Blizzard’s league, and Blizzard’s promotion. They have every power to make this right, but so far they have gone “This is youtube’s fault, so go suck eggs or something”. If they just went “everyone with a connected account gets the free skins and

Chill, dawg. Kotaku isn’t afraid to call Sony on their bullshit when Sony does something problematic. (See: Sony refusing to give Kotaku review codes because they don’t like Kotaku’s reporting.) It’s just that in this case, MS published something that Kotaku can comment on.

I get what you and OP are saying, but please stop with this. Like, we know both sides have dirty hands, fine. I’m not arguing with that.

This is the kind of ludicrous white knight bullshit that drives people to vote Republican, just in case you’re wondering.

Shame died years ago now when people deliberately chose to conflate being tolerant and accepting of other people’s fundamental beliefs and cultures to mean “I should be able to do anything with no consequences”.

It’d be cheaper to aim the rockets to fly out of our solar system than into the sun, a lot cheaper.

Said the nerd freaking out about others freaking out.

If you don’t want me to order something, maybe convince your overlords not to put something on the menu that speaks to me as loudly as that thing does.

Cactus Plant Flea Market-style four-eyed toys of the old McDonald’s characters

Buddy, you’re taking it a bit literally. We’re not talking about actual Frats (though the hazing, sexual assault, and crooked networking those create is not as unproblematic as you seem to think - doing some charity work doesn’t make you good person - otherwise Bill Gates would have replaced Saint Peter), we’re
