I dunno, I figured DQH was just another Warriors game until I watched someone stream it last night and saw that it’s actually got a lot more going on under the hood than even Hyrule Warriors, which was already pretty far from the established DW rut.

Just did that. Found two results for the DMCA FAQ on twitch’s website, a lot of people TALKING about DMCA takedowns, and an article about a streamer’s archives being removed. Not one instance of a live stream being shut down.

I can’t think of a single time a live Twitch stream has been DMCA’d.

They’re ridiculous, but also unenforceable. They can’t do a single thing to you for streaming on Twitch with the music on, and until they patch the game to automatically insert all that annoying copyright shit, they can’t force you to display that either. All they can do is get your archives pulled, and no one watches…

I hate to pick nits, but...

Well I’m not going to change my mind, because I formed my own opinion after playing each of the games. I was genuinely curious as to what people saw in the games past the pretty set pieces. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any responses that made much sense. Which is fine, opinions don’t always make sense.

It is absolutely not condescending to accuse you of dissembling when you try to say Doom told a story the same way Half Life did.

Doom didn’t tell a story in the game, the way Half Life did. Don’t be dense.

Half Life told a story without having to ‘put down the controller’ in like, 1998. I don’t see how that’s revolutionary.

Talk about necro-ing a thread, but Half-Life was the first FPS to give the player agency in the world. Instead of Doom Guy or Quake Guy, you were Gordon Freeman and you had a place in the world.

I really have no idea why Uncharted is considered influential or even good. Can someone PLEASE explain it to me? I’m 100% serious.

The only game I play online is Destiny. Believe me when I say that the major impetus for my PS+ purchase is actually the cloud storage for my saves, and the IGC.

Malzahar hasn’t had a significant change to his kit since 2010. That’s right. Not since the game launched. He’s had a few QoL improvements to the way his summoned pet works and that’s it.

Right. Like I think all the big booby, ecchi anime is stupid, like High School DxD or To-Love Ru, and that anyone who watches it has terrible taste, whereas most Western people look at that anime and then judge all anime, Japan, Japanese people, and their culture by it and think that they need to fix it.

It’s not that much better because you still have to pre-order (or buy on launch day) to get those things.

If only I didn’t already own it on several other platforms.
