Didn’t we see White diamond’s hand along with Blue and Yellow when they sent the beam to destroy the Crystal Gems?

Pink Diamond aka “I just want to go out with my friend just for tonight!”

Okay, so I’ll just start by saying that there were some moments when Pearl was...displaying...her emotional fondness for Pink Diamond that felt downright erotic to me. The way DMH acted her automatic subservient responses got more and more packed with honest faith and hopeful intensity. It was an undeniable

God dammit. Take your star.

And of course the best sketch was one cut for time.
Seriously, I wish more alternative bands had rap features like Nicki with the Haim parody. Closest I can think of is that sweet Parquet Courts song with Bun B.

(Copy and pasting what I wrote at The Avocado. Uh, it’s a lot)

Oh my god, I was wrong
It was Pink all along

I mean it would be a hi-larious twist though.

“I loved your mother Steven, but she could be kind of an asshole sometimes.”

goddammit, now I gotta go back and rewrite so many fanfics.

Peridot pulled out a bomb/shutdown device early on, Lapis seems to store a small supply of water, and Gem weapons can be upgraded in the field (which requires Gems to be able to store at least slightly more than their base weapon). I take this to mean that non-Pearl Gems do have some storage ability, just not anywhere

but because the story of how one of the pillars of Gem society came to change and see the Earth so differently from her peers is much more interesting to me than a Gem who was just born different

I think there’s a lot of different kinds of love, some just carried Rose further than others. I don’t doubt she loved all of them individually, I don’t believe she’d have done what she did all those centuries if she didn’t. But doing something new was perhaps always a greater love to her, part of her fundament, and it

I agree, AND I think because our Pearl was a novel, unusual Pearl (bold, precise, experimental!) that held fascination for Rose/Pink. And no doubt that novelty faded and so did the attraction. Shoot, this show that I watch with my kids is really a show for adults.

Pink invented the whole “line” of gems, I’m pretty sure. They were grown on Earth so that she could have an army. Also, there was that episode with the human zoo where they show all the other Rose Quartz gems floating in bubbles. They were decommissioned after the war started in order to find the one traitorous one.

*SCREAMING*********

Like a lot of you, I was born at such time that Star Wars was just part of my life from the get-go, so it’s nigh impossible to pin down an actual first memory of it. There were the Kenner action figures, of course, which, at my mother’s urging, were later sold off in a garage sale, a point of parental regret for which

When I was 7 (2002), I was shown Episode I for the first time with a bunch of other kids. When Darth Maul’s lightsabers came out, I was hooked. The entire room just went “ooooooooo.”
