I didn’t even know the sub was there until the raccoons started singing the Soviet national anthem.

I agree with much of what you said, except the 2016 PS4 game wasn’t based on the movie. The movie was based on the game, which itself was a remake/reimagining/modernization of the original PS2 Ratchet & Clank game. But yes, the backstory of Rift Apart draws mostly from the PS3 era games: Tools of Destruction, A Crack

About 10 years ago, I felt like beating a difficult game like this would have been an accomplishment. As an example, I was proud when I beat Dead Space 2's hardcore mode that only allowed three saves. Not a hugely difficult game for some, but for me, that was the first time I had beaten a game with a quasi-permadeath

Control does have a couple of accessibility modes that can make the game ridiculously easy if you are looking to just get through the story. There are immortality and one-hit kill modes in the accessibility menu. These modes do not lock you out of any trophies/achievements, either, if you are looking to get those too.

If it’s available, I replace the “Press button repeatedly” option with the “hold button” to perform whatever action requires that kind of control. I’m starting to get to the age where arthritis is a thing and button-mashing has actually become somewhat painful and tiring.

I would say Horizon: Zero Dawn is my favorite game of its generation. What compelled me to keep at it when a lot of my friends gave up on it was the unraveling of the mystery of what happened in the past to create the world Aloy was living in the present, and then how she is connected to that past. There’s also a

Without spoiling too much, the armors and charms you pick up are rewards for completing quests in the game. Some charms are also rewards for visiting the various shrines and fox dens and completing the tasks associated with them. So, they’re not like items to be picked up off the ground or purchased from in-game. You

Out of context, it makes no sense, but it works in the context of the scene. The dude is a bigot, and he made her some sandwiches as a half-hearted gesture of contrition after being called out on it by others.

Having played through the entire game now, you summed it up as I would have. I initially hated the second half when I realized I was going to be playing as the person who killed Joel. But I also started to think more critically about who Joel was, and what he did, and how Abby would not have had the same look at who

I guess that depends on what you mean by a “full game.” The Order: 1886 is only about 6-8 hours long, and it was considered a full game. Lost Legacy is around 10 hours, but many don’t consider it a full game (I don’t agree with that contention).

The original game stretched from Yellowstone to Southern Utah/Northern Arizona (as far as I can tell) and the map wasn’t overly huge, so a shrunken-down California wouldn’t surprise me.

This comment deserves more stars.

My guess is that it spans Utah, Nevada, California and Arizona. It might even be only California (the dunes between San Diego and the Arizona border look a lot like that desert shot), as there would be a lot of topographical diversity to explore. That said, and without spoiling too much from the first game for those

Thank you. I’ve been saying this over and over again. I am an attorney, and though I don’t practice in criminal law, I know enough about it to speak about what it means when there is an element of a crime missing. In this country, the prosecution must prove that all elements of the crime are proven before a defendant

I’m a “Black Widow with seeking plasma bolts, shoot kett from a mile away and watch the bullet take 30 seconds to get there” kind of player.

That was actually what I was kind of hoping Anthem would be.

I have been so ill-informed. I always thought Bounce was about riding a pogo stick.

“A winner is you.”

Maximillian gave me nightmares as a kid.

Part of the blame for the box office numbers needs to go to the studio. It was not wise to put this film’s opening against Ford v. Ferrari.
