Roads you haven’t driven on are dark grey, not orange. They turn white when you’ve driven on them if they’re a paved road, and they turn red/orange when you drive on them if they’re offroad/dirt. Maybe you have some sort of accessibility option turned on that’s showing them as orange?

and is still not in great shape on consoles.” You should really clarify this. It’s perfectly fine on current-gen consoles. I’ve been playing since day one on XSX and have had only minor issues, certainly nothing out of the norm from any major open world game. I’m in the “ok what are they going to add/improve” boat,

I did guess that was the case, it just came off more conspicuous than usual given the circumstances.

“Bloomberg writes.”

Excuse me, the movie is GREAT. Yes, it’s different from the comic in a lot of ways, but it’s an excellent adaptation that does its own thing while still being true to the comic.

I guess parts of my post could be interpreted one way or another, so I’ll just clarify that I’ve played every Halo game on release day or thereabouts, I’ve had the MCC on Xbox for years, and my post was more in line with the idea that, if they’re going to separate Reach from the collection (in terms of purchasing) and

I mean in terms of dialogue, structure of those opening scenes, the team dynamic, the debrief-vehicle ride-team banter leading into the first conflict - it’s all straight out of what COD was doing at the time with Modern Warfare. You could replace the spartans with US military and it would BE COD.

Played through “Winter Contingency” last night, craziest thing is how blatant this game is about being “Call of Duty: Modern Halo.” I didn’t play any of the modern COD games until years later, so when this came out I didn’t make that connection at all. Not a criticism either, I think the vibe and tone works really

First, well, let me think.

Could not agree more. Guy is a star. I just hope his style doesn’t catch up with him too soon, because he should be a big deal for a long, long time.

Xenogears. Not only can you actually develop the second the disc of the game, but its story and setting and visuals absolutely scream for a modern presentation. Just imagine the Zeboim ruins, or Weltall’s transformation, or how much worse Dan would be in 4K! Xenogears is the pick.

You understand that what you’re saying here is, “I love that the character is a black stereotype, that’s what I love about him the most, and if he isn’t represented as a stereotype then he’s ruined. I don’t want the game’s main POC to be portrayed in a modern, respectful manner; I want to maintain the racial

Also, after this SM PS4 debacle, I’m convinced the venn diagram of “People who like Raimi Spider-Man” and “People who are mad about The Last Jedi” ends up looking like this:

Honest question: how in the world could you call it “possibly... the best superhero movie” if you admit that the STAR OF THE MOVIE is “pretty bad”? If the most important character in the movie is poorly cast and that actor does a bad job of portraying the character, I’m pretty sure that disqualifies the movie from

SM2 (and, really, the trilogy as a whole) is a cheesy, garbage love letter from Raimi to what he thought Spider-Man was about when he was a kid; it wasn’t remotely relevant to what Spider-Man was about in the early 21st century and it’s even less relevant now.

The Raimi movies were bad then and they’re AWFUL now. By the end of the trilogy, the character was a joke. Tobey is by far the worst Peter, the movies never got his sense of humor right (in part because Tobey is about as charismatic and interesting as a half glass of milk that’s been sitting on the counter all day),

Ghost Recon Wildlands, I got through the intro and drove to one mission, completed it, shut the game off and deleted it after that mission (it was a free play weekend). Was not for me at all - gameplay, voice acting, none of it worked for me.

How about a One X update? Talk about a game that demands 4K HDR. I’d fire it up again for that.

I have had much more luck being on foot than in a vehicle. It’s difficult to aim any of the vehicle mounted weapons, whereas on foot you can grab some cover, pop out and target the driver no problem. It actually feels pretty unbalanced.

I was really into this game until the last act, where I felt like the story really fell apart (the final antagonist in particular was really uninteresting, or at least that’s how I remember it). Left a really bad taste in my mouth and ended up being my least favorite of the PS1&2 Final Fantasy games. I honestly can’t
