Yeah, I made basically the same comment without reading all the others first. It wasn’t a big twist. However, I will say that I also didn’t feel like the writers and producers meant to present it as some big twist either. It was a shock to The Weapon, but not the player.

I really enjoyed the narrative of Infinite and especially Jen Taylor’s portrayal of The Weapon as this naïve but hopeful character but frankly the “twist” that she was Cortana, or rather the pretence of it being a twist in the first place, was the weakest moment of the game because it’s the most telegraphed I’ve ever

It’s the same as “Kotaku reports”. It’s a shorthand for the publication, pretty standard for any journalistic reference. The author itself is named only if relevant, past employment or not, or if somehow it breaks with the publisher stance.

If you ever thought the Internet as a whole was “sublime” you weren’t really ever paying attention.

Just as weird that in cutscenes, Cloud can pull off a bunch of anime bullshit and leap across buildings and shit.

Ingame, you can’t even climb up a box.

As the heroes finalize plans to hide away the Infinity Stones, Doc Doom shows up in Wakanda to steal the Soul Stone, which is exactly the sort of thing he does.

+1 sticking-it-to-the-man

This deserves all the stars.

First, well, let me think.

All of it. Disney isn’t receiving any money from this, nor any of the developers or Nintendo or anyone else at Marvel. Your entire $60 plus DLC is going towards Ike, who has promised to donate all proceeds to Trump's re-election campaign. Even versions bought in other countries are going entirely in Ike's pocket. None

No one is owed a spot on anyone else’s platform. If the PA guys don’t like their politics (and good for them if they don’t, honestly) then they don’t have to put them on stage.

Xenogears. Upscaled graphics, maybe some more animated cut scenes, a proper Disc 2, and the ability to speed up or skip text.

I can't say that I am a fan of this. Even if it was planned from the start, this just shows these people that if they harass developers had enough they can get what ever they want. It is really a growing trend in some circles.

I think op is ignoring he historical context, but viewed through a modern lens those movies are all pretty dated.

One of Jamie Moyer’s rookie year teammates was Gary Matthews Sr.

That makes for bright times on the South Side. Bringing, as they do, hundreds of fans to the table, the Sox will surely come out with lots of money from such a deal

I know writers who use subtext and they’re all cowards.

Imagine being unemployed with 7.2 million in the bank. I would eat so many cows

I agree.
