I’ve followed this game with passing interest since it was announced. I never got hyped for it prior to release because I never really paid attention to it. I heard about the shitstorm that surrounded it post-launch, and since then kinda go “huh, cool” when they release a major patch. Still have never played it, but I

Relevant to what? What does that even mean? It’s a game, you play it because you like it. Or you don’t. What does relevance have to do with anything?

Hooydonk is the sound of this front end nose thing. Like if you could “hear” the image of it, it would sound like “Hooydonk” imo.

The prototype PS3 boomerang controller is a solid contender. I like to think that was when Sony decided to politely escort Kutaragi to the door.

No Bloodborne 2, no care

Reads more like an indictment of douchebag truck people. Which I am fully on board with

I don’t really have much to add, only that this was actually a pretty thought-provoking post.

Massive doubts about what? It was never meant to be a 100% accurate examination of the time period. Like if you don’t care for the gameplay or whatever, fair enough, but that just seems like a strange bone to pick.

“And the Seraphites—’everybody in this game is morally gray... except those religious zealots, fuck those guys amirite?’”

I haven’t played WoW seriously since Cataclysm, but I dabbled with Pandaria and Legion and I think there was another xpac that I’m forgetting. As time went on it seemed like the game was adding more and more “DBM-like” features. I still used DBM but I often wondered if it was actually viable to raid without it.

I see the appeal definitely, it’s just not my cup of tea. The games that hold my attention now tend to be RPGs or games with RPG elements (sit down, Division. Not you). The pursuit of loot and other cool things is what keeps my attention the most. Playing a game without some sort of “reward” is more difficult for me

We’ve been pretty self aware since D1. The cycle of stagnation and then OMFG HYPE when the fall expansion drops has stayed pretty consistent.

“He finds a hacker who can give him a citizen’s identity, but her hacking tool was stolen by a bird. The bird can be lured with food, but the food is in the back of a truck guarded by a flock of angry birds (no relation). To scare the birds away he must-.”

Show me Bloodborne 2 and I will buy this over the Xbox at launch. Then I’ll finish it and go back to Xbox where my friends are.

You would HATE it. And having an “honest” sound is so much better than being loud for no reason. Being louder than a Ferrari when you’re only doing 15 is fucking stupid. I’ve always liked relatively quiet exhausts that can really scream when you open it up.

+1 for H-pipes! When I was looking into an exhaust system for my ‘67 Mustang, anytime I mentioned that I wanted an H-pipe people were like “bUt Yu LoSe HorSepOwEr!!1" like I’m really going to be racing a 50 year old convertible or pushing it enough to notice the difference.

I am a shameless quitter. If I join a losing game, quit. Get spawn killed too many times? Quit. Suddenly decide I don’t want to play this map? Quit. Pretty much any time the game feels like a waste of time, when I could be doing something else that seems more fun, I’ll quit and go do that. I really do not care.

Bots have also been added to console. With the latest update, there has been an influx in “players” who behave like, well.....bots. They move like bots, fire at you like bots, and have gibberish names like bots. They’re easy fodder for challenges, I guess.

It’s Confuse that you have to avoid at all cost. If you can resist that, you can Remedy the rest of the shit away. Even if one person can resist it, you might be able to cure the other two (or 3, if FF9) and survive.

Fun fact: standard Tonberries are in the original game’s code to appear in the Whirlwind Maze, but never do. And I think it was actually spelled Tonberi at one point.
