“As the editor of my college newspaper years ago (Vietnam era), I know there is always another side to the story.”

Was really not into alcohol before Rockstar but they certainly changed me. It was kind of a “join them or leave” kind of deals. I managed to avoid drugs until shortly before I left, but thankfully it was mild.

The company had a tendency to pay for tons of food and open bars, which was great. And I would hate to see

I did work at R* for a time but I couldn’t contribute to the story. Anything that happened in San Diego generally stayed in San Diego. The NYC office didn’t really know what was going on unless a San Diego transplant was keeping in touch with the crew out west.

He died doing what he loved: experiencing hypothermia and pulmonary edema, confused, unable to breathe, feeling his pulse plummeting, and falling down in a place where his body may never be recovered. But on the other hand, he did put a lot of other people’s lives at risk in the process. So there’s that.

I spent 30 minutes in line at a street festival in 70 degree weather to pay $8 for an award winning tamale yesterday and got a little sunburned, so I know how they feel.

Unless there’s some sort of punishment for lying or refusing to answer questions, this is all pointless, as we already know the Trump administration thinks lying just another tactic in getting what they want and have no issue with it.

Josh Hawley trying to act tough during that hearing was hilarious. The GOp are such bad-faith actors, it’s despicable.

Our governor and the state GOP love to jerk themselves off to lowering taxes, but then they cut education funding and put the burden on local communities. Now, they are pushing property tax cuts as solution without raising state contributions to funding. What a fucking joke. Anyone who works in public education in

It really seemed like they were about to make some real growth with education funding, but then had to get so worked up over property taxes. Ughhhh, we were soooooo close. But I think things can change with the weed laws. Look at the laws now in Houston (Thank you Kim Ogg for being real about it)

You can’t have an honest debate/discussion with the GOP in this state because they’re so off the rails when it comes the war on drugs (among many, many other things). Legalization of weed would rake in so much money here, but instead we get Reagan-era talking points about the devil’s lettuce from people who definitely

For the most part, Americans are:

all so Trump can take another victory lap just like he did after Barr’s summary, and use that going into the 2020 elections, then I hope you enjoy his second term.

“As president, that would be one of my top priorities!”

They’re not opposing views when you’ve already told your sources your position and how you’re in the tank for them before they provide any information you’re looking for.

While “Lampass” is much funnier (and great nickname for a firefly), it’s actually Lampasas County.

With their hilariously overpriced, middling food, they can afford to do this, and I can afford not to care. Also, 10 hour workdays suck for having any semblance of free time on workdays.

To be fair there’s idiocy at play with any of them parsing - there is no real nation-state exclusive to white people, folk have been traveling around since we realized water wasn’t that scary to cross via boat and there are some ‘immigrants’ with more generations invested than some recent descendants of white people.

try blocking across from that and with those janky eyes you’d have no idea which way she was gonna run
