This is simply false. Non studded winter tires are nowhere near as good as studded tires on ice. If you live in a hilly area that is prone to ice, you’d know that there is a huge difference.
What? What makes using studded tires in the winter ‘dimwitted’. I use studded tires in the winter and the added traction on ice is incredible.
I’m sorry, but you’re wrong on this. Studless snow tires are fine for most parts of the country, but in the Rockies/Intermountain West studded snow tires are still needed.
