If it is based on a road going hyper-car they do.  If it is a prototype racecar they do not.  I believe this is based on a hyper-car so they’ll need to produce and sell at least 20.

Based on the Le Mans Regulations I expect it’ll be available in 2022 or sooner.

It is worth adding I have been told the 88 retired because Hoshino feels out of his depth and is concerned about the safety on track.  I don't believe he completed his minimum drive time so if he isn't getting back in that would be why they retired.

Ive done 5 24h sim race events in the prototype class at Le Mans against the best sim racers (and max Verstappen) in the world. You can’t pass at the 2nd apex on that double left no matter what the car in front of you is doing.

From what I’ve read Kuechel has an asking price that is statistically determined and reasonable.  I think the total dollar amount you specify is negotiable based on the length of the contract and that Kuechel isn’t set in stone on 6 years.

I get a rental for work about 35 times a year.  That contract goes with me even if I’m running out for lunch between meetings.  License and “proof you’re allowed to drive this car.” is how i look at it.
