For the better part of a decade, Valve had a near-monopoly on the PC game storefront, with no real competition. To the point that Steam was synonymous with digital PC game storefronts, like Kleenex or Advil. Valve’s lack of proactive or timely fixes to Steam are a direct result of them having no real competition. It

So I assume you want it this way instead:
Epic: “We’re going to open our own store to promote competition!”
Epic: “Let’s just offer developers more money from their sales, but literally do no other moves that might bring attention to our new store front.”

You all act like downloading the Epic Store requires you buy an

Exclusives are a way of creating competition between storefronts. Epic has drawn a line in the sand labeled 12% and now expects Steam to step up if they want games to be drawn back to their storefront. 30% is an INSANE royalty rate and they only got away with it because there wasn’t an alternative. Now there is.

I have found myself to be a sucker for a good looter-shooter, as I’ve sunk a lot of time into both Division games and both Destiny games. Even in the face of their very evident problems (Destiny was often more fun to complain about than to play until The Taken King came along) I’ve enjoyed the constant engagement,

I certainly haven’t played it since Div 2 released. I liked Anthem but... [shrugs]... lots of problems there man. And, my god... trying to get through the story quests... the load times... the running around “town” which, let me tell you, wasn’t fun... Anthem felt like a chore most times. I felt like I spent 10mins in

I dislike the use of the quote “they’re all the goddamn same”. Yeah, they are more or less. Conventions are a business. You’re doing your cosplay as a business. If the conventions are were you have to go to flex your business and make money, boo hoo that they’re all the same - you’re doing this as a business.

At this point I’ve sort of started to wonder if I should just start ignoring both reviewers and gamers, as I never seem to agree with either group anymore and I’m too old to care about who enjoys a thing other than me and some friends.

“im not political! im not political!!”, i continue to insist as i slowly shrink and transform into a corn cob

If clicking an icon to the left instead of clicking an icon to the right is seriously going to stop you from enjoying a game you sound like you want then...woof, buddy good luck to you.

After rearranging my room, I finally have a space to actually hook up and use my PC. Now what do I do?

Because there's no pot of caps at the end of the rainbow

My list would include Suikoden 1-2, Lunar 1-2, SaGa Frontier, Xenogears, Final Fantasy Tactics, Brave Fencer Musashi, Breath of Fire 3, Chrono Cross, Vagrant Story, Ogre Battle, Grandia, and so on...

Stop being a dick. They’re more attractive without makeup. I find most women, in general, more attractive with makeup. I’m not making a political statement, sharing a personal opinion. So, kindly fuck off, dick.

I’d say all of these women are far more attractive without the makeup.

You do know how Bethesda schedules their games, right? This is not a replacement for Fallout 5, Fallout 5 is coming after ES6 and always has. This is a bonus spin-off game co-developed with another studio. They could have never made this and we’d still not be getting Fallout 5 until after ES6. I don’t fucking

No buy for me. I can’t find the value paying full price for a FTP game model and give the game publisher a pass that this practice is acceptable.

The Fifth Element cop costume is perfect.

Honestly, I would *love* to see RPGs in a non-European setting. Give me an RPG based on African Folklore .. or a survival horror game set in the Andes Mountains. The less homogeneous game development is, the better games we will get.
