This series is going to be like the Dune series. The original books by the original author end in cliffhanger at the time of the author’s death. Someone will come along to write a massively inferior ending leaving everyone extremely disappointed.

“Welcome back to The North Rehabs! The army of the dead made a mess of the Last Hearth, but Colby and the team have 6 days to make it fit for a King...beyond OR below the Wall!”

I loved the others. The twist got me good.

“Yes, yes, of course, I’ve been working on WINDS OF WINTER. Almost every day. Writing, rewriting, editing, writing some more. Making steady progress,” he said. “Not as fast as I would like... certainly not as fast as YOU would like... but progress nonetheless.”

One of these days he will give the real answer.

It definitely has a pop culture footprint, moreso than most of the movies on this list.

What about Jeffrey Jones?”

“Oh. Yikes. Uh, carry on.

Ah, the weirdness of history. Joan of Arc was handed over for trial to a church court in France run by French clerics. Yes, at the time the region was under direct English rule, but it still astonishes me that the Catholic Church made her a martyr when it was the Catholic Church that sentenced her to burn at stake.

Ironically I’m raising my kids in a small college town in the South, and I find it far, far more accepting and diverse than the racist cop/firefighter neighborhood in Chicago where I grew up. But that doesn’t change the fact that “small town” and “big city” are racist dog whistles, or that cities tend to be the

Like anywhere, it depends. Born and raised. A lot of good, smart people. A lot of well meaning but ignorant types. Sprinkled with a few “jump you and kick the shit out of you on the ground, leaving you to crawl to the ER, all because you seem like a f*g”. Speaking from personal experience.

As a Nashvillian and a country music fan, I have to tell y’all something important, which is that Jason Aldean sucks ass. Absolute ass, and he always has. His music is completely shitty and has always pandered both in sound and lyrics to the lowest common denominator of country music fans. I haven’t heard this song

Eh, it was fine. Relatively inoffensive. I did laugh hard when they literally had the scrolling montage of theaters the band played, something that has been parodied to no end for a couple of decades now.

But the desire for it to—that’s what this song is about.

It’s just the usual Conservative pining for a 1950's style America that never really existed and was an even worse place to live if you weren’t a white male.

“The Greatest Showman” doesn’t fit here at all - in your own description you said it was highly-fictionalized. This film was not written to be a “biopic” and never advertised itself as such that I recall.

I was 10, I think, when my parents took me to see a re-release. My dad and older brothers were sci fi nerds so I was as ‘primed’ as I could have been, although I knew nothing of the story going in. I followed the first two parts well enough. Everything after HAL’s ‘death’ went right over my head. I can’t say I liked

Okay, with the addition of this one I’m ready to move beyond “Miranda Lambert Has A Point” all the way to “Miranda Lambert Was 100% Right.”

I almost never side with the fans but this has big PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEEEEE energy from Lambert.”

I would say if it disrupts the performer or the other people around you probably crossed the line into where you’re just being completely inconsiderate. I don’t mind people taking a quick pic or video but I’ve had the experience at a general admission show when the person in front of me thinks they’re making a goddamn

Yeah I was a little on their side until I saw that they were taking a big ass group selfie in the front rows while everyone else was trying to see. That’s just rude. Also why do you need the world to know that you had “the best seats in the house”?  You call yourselves “grown women in their 30s to 60s,” so grow the
