Drugs are a helluva drug.

Game Night is hilarious and should be on this list.

I’m not going to argue with Bridesmaids being at the top of the list. The “dump” scene is an all time classic and Wiig and McCarthy are at the top of their game. Standouts in a great cast.

In a perfect world, this would be a nationwide PBS style channel run by the National Archives.

My guess is that they will follow the example of M in Casino Royale: just keep the actress every loves in the role, who cares if it’s a reboot, only hardcore nerds who can’t accept any non-diegetic explanation will be upset.*

Harding’s stepson Brian Szasz wrote on Facebook offering “thoughts and prayers that the rescue mission will be successful.” TMZ reported Szasz then followed up that post by saying he was attending a Blink-182 concert in San Diego. The billionaire’s scion wrote, “It might be distasteful being here but my family would

This is made more complicated by the fact that James Gunn has never made a movie as successful as Aquaman”.

There’s one more factor to take into consideration—the price of seeing a movie in a theater. Ticket prices are subject to inflation like everything else in the economy, and when you’re bringing the whole family along, that adds up quickly. Throw in the cost of popcorn and drinks, maybe parking too, and it becomes a

I love the bit in ‘The Royal Tenenbaums’ where Royal says that he’s had the best time of his life with his family, followed by the narrator saying, “Immediately after making this statement, Royal realised that it was true.” It sums up the character so beautifully: the fact that he would say something like that without

I think it would be great if all awards were degendered, but I worry that if they do they will end up like the Academy Award for Best Director and very few non-males will be nominated or recognized. Part of that is just that the profession is male dominated (also bad) but that’s not all of it. Many awards are doing

Ask not for whom the bait clicks.

“Leviss had previously been sequestered in a trailer due to a restraining order between her and Scheana Shay.”

Yeah- I was a bit bummed that they changed the ending as I did enjoy King’s relatively rare happy ending but it also worked in the way the movie reflected on the Kubrick movie- it showcases some of its strengths but also highlights its weaknesses in the same way Doctor Sleep reflects on the strengths and weaknesses of

Very aptly described. I happen to still enjoy and appreciate The Running Man very much for a number of reasons (an evil Richard Dawson being one).

In it’s defense, The Running Man also isn’t totally wretched. Like, I love that film so I’m biased, but even at its worst it’s fairly standard ‘80s action cheese with Arnie in it, even if you don’t like it it’s competent enough.

Depends on the Christians.

Any Christian with a brain in their head knows that Catholicism is the biggest branch of Christianity.

Apt Pupil is creepy

Event Horizon is a dreadful movie. It’s depressing, not scary, and makes no sense whatsoever. And it’s directed by one of the worst directors to ever get a Hollywood career.

I remember Firestarter 1984 being fine except for George C. Scott which really wasn’t his fault because it was stupid character to begin with. The Magic Native American is as bad as, or worse than, the Magic Negro trope.
