Have you hit 10th level with it yet? Its pretty much indestructible at that point, once you get Dong of Defense. My Bladesinger has 21 AC in bladesong (without shield up), and can mitigate X points of damage per round with their reaction.

After a while I stopped putting so much pre-work into adventures and would just wing it. Because no dungeon adventure plan ever survives contact with the players.
