Yeah the only way to tell a story about this band that does not depict them treating women horribly is to not tell a story.

Have you seen the show before? The writing has never been legitimately great for scripted challenges - they’re supposed to be campy and dumb. A ridiculous, broad sendup of reality is what one expects from the show (and usually drag in general), not a carefully crafted, nuanced take-down. There are plenty of those…

I like that Joel McHale annoyed Michelle Visage, but he was legit heckling at some points. The whole “drunk bro that stumbled out of Wrigleyville and into Boystown” schtick was borderline offensive.

I feel split on Joel McHale. I think he offered generally good critiques and praise to the girls, but he overestimated how much bro energy was needed on this show. I must say, I was thoroughly entertained by every shot of Michelle giving him side eye.

I was so sad to discover that. I loved basically every look, even though a few were too short for me personally, but I would snatch up that collection if it was made for real.

I loved it, and I wanted several of Annie’s kindergarten-teacher dresses. Even though they probably don’t exist and were made from scratch by the costume dept. (yes, I’ve read at least two articles about it.)
