I feel like it’s one thing when someone working on a new release gets snubbed. Like they left and didn’t see the launch but still worked on it. That’s still bad.

The cancelled version I will always have in my head is the hookman predecessor to what become RE4. Was always interested in seeing some of that supernatural stuff they seemed to be playing with in that one make an appearance.

Same thing happened with the RE show. She seemed fine it’s just that every character was written like they were an idiot.

I’ve been so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the show. Maybe my expectations for video game adaptations are so low but I’ve been blown away.

This last episode in particular had a remarkable tenderness that I didn’t expect at all. It was wonderful. 

While I can’t disagree that the story is horrible, I went into the experience with the mindset that this is Fire Emblem Power Rangers/Sentai and it ended up actually helping me wrap my head around the story better.
