Social media can be a nightmare for any number of reasons, but I don’t think that the abusers of yesteryear are prepared to withstand the counterattack that is direct testimonials on Twitter, Tiktok, Instagram, etc. Places like this that can get away with casual cruelty for decades are imploding and I’m super into it.

100%. I KNOW that race had something to do with this incident. I work at a title I school where over 75% of the students are eligible for free or reduced lunches and i have seen how black students are not looked after and kept safe AND I have seen how teachers are let off the hook for it over and over again.…

Teachers don't really get summers off. During the time schools aren't in session they're getting delightfully paperwork and taking classes to keep their jobs.

I even understood as a kid that many, many teachers become teachers even though they absolutely hate children. It’s insane.

I have never been able to understand this man’s appeal, even taken separately from his creepyness. He is painfully unlikable to watch in any of his roles, most of which, appear to be self-inserts.

We are conditioned to blame the victims so that the predators can continue to roam free and collect more victims.

I was pretty insulated from his movies growing up (my parents were never interested), but friends were super insistent that we watch (and enjoy) them, claiming they were some kind of artistic genius.

Also, Allen’s movies are boring, contrite, overwrought, and pedantic. I have no idea why everybody puts him on his pedestal.
