So, it's the 23rd. Where's Kinja.
It's the same username, I thought.
I've never seen her standup or show, but I heard people raving about Trainwreck so I tried it out. I agree with you - it was awful. (At least the first 40 minutes were.)
She's not nearly as funny as, say, Chris Rock or Dave Chappelle.
Imagine the game of Risk you could play with all of the statues…
Thanks for pointing this out. My only caveat was that I don't think we should erase the past, especially uncomfortable parts of the past, but if the monuments are recent - knock em' down! (For the older statues, take them down and store them until museums want them.)
Odds of Sam dying before the end of the series - 1:infinity. Samwell Tarly is an untouchable character (moreso than Daenerys or Jon Snow.) He is GRRM putting himself in the story, the chronicler who will write the books.
I agree in a lot of ways - I haven't given up yet, but I'm surprised by the A- grade that this episode got. There must be a LOT of fan service and inside jokes for the comic readers. For me, the show would be much better if Jessie was better (moody, impulsive - sure, but he's got to be a good guy.)
The copyright never expires. Every 15 years it gets extended for another 15 years. (See the "Mickey Mouse Protection Act" https://en.wikipedia.org/wi…
Face/Off? What is Face/Off doing anywhere near a "best of" list? All tension was removed by the "so stupid don't make me acknowledge it" plot and the game of overacting one-upmanship. Also, they kept saying the title, "Face/Off," over and over, louder and slower like the branding of a bad commercial.
TRL = Total Request Live. Sheesh, that was way too hard to find.
Sure. It just won't happen in Sing Sing.
A. He won't serve.
The only joke is on us. He's not seeing the inside of a prison. The crimes he committed - the real crimes - aren't illegal.
The hacker community, after all of the pirated viewings of the show *owes* it to HBO to "take care" of this problem. It's one thing to pirate a show, it's another thing to make it so HBO's paying customers get the show after the pirates.
Agreed. Anyway TOD is the worst Indiana Jones movie*.
I agree. I thought this episode - while it wasn't great - was a hell of a lot better then the people here seem to think.
I believe that CTE is a real and major concern that should be aggressively addressed, BUT… the rate (110 out of 111) is far higher than earlier football CTE tests, enough so that I wish that there had been a control group. "Scientists find symptoms of CTE in 110 out of 111 football players, 3 out of 111 in control…
It'd be nice if Jesse wrestled just a touch more with his good side. He's supposed to be struggling with both extremes, right? A really good guy and a really bad guy. Right now he seems more like a guy who will torture Tulip's ex, beat the crap out of an innocent guy watching TV with him, deal in souls, ignore the kid…
