But if it had been reported as a joke, we wouldn’t be talking about it and think of all the page views that never would have happened.

They’re producers on the show. They kind of are among the powers that be for it.
It makes perfect sense to not report that as a joke. It would have been a really juicy story if it had been true. They both have rather dry senses of humor so they could have delivered the joke in a seemingly serious way and the press ran with it.
For DC/Warner’s sake, let’s hope so. Wouldn’t it be hysterical if DC/Warner “saving grace” turns out to be the Villains (SS) instead of the Heros (BvS:DOJ)?
Marvel seems to understand this and allows each product to have a distinct feel. CA2TWS is a political thriller. DD is a crime drama.
I want to preface my response by saying that I absolutely am strongly in favor of gay rights and think that under anti-discrimination laws, a baker should have to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple just as for any other couple. But this wasn’t a wedding cake, it was a cake with a specific message on it saying…
Even as someone who is also extremely pro-gay rights, I do think there’s something to the argument that a baker should not be required by law to make a cake that says “Support Gay Marriage,” as opposed to being required by anti-discrimination law to just make a cake for a gay couple’s marriage.
He’s backing what he sees as freedom of speech; it’s pretty clear he does not agree with bigotry.
It’s very refreshing to hear someone of his stature articulating his position so well. I feel the same way as Patrick Stewart, but if I try to make this same argument I am labeled a Homophobe.
All I’ll say is, is historically speaking, the biggest douchebags in the entire Marvel Universe are Tony Stark and Reed Richards. I hate them with a passion. A fucking passion. But if you take that away from them, are they really even those characters anymore?
Exactly this is a story of idiots. Very kind idiots but idiots all the same. I was a sever and would ask people without any out of area accent to point things out, or do a double check of the menu just to ensure I had it right. No one ever was upset, people want to make sure you put their order in right. Even know…
So, explaining to several managers the problem, having all of them go to the table and having the kitchen make extra food is somehow less time consuming then having them point to it?
Excellent strategy for getting comp’ed food, though.
There’s no way that it would take more time to have him point at a line of text on a menu than to get two managers involved to eventually decide on and approve the plan Josh came up with.
Couldn’t the server have just asked the man to point to the item he wanted on the menu?
Apparently it wasn’t evaluated for how it interacts with antidepressants - either whether it is effective to counteract the side effects or whether it causes a bad interaction.
I try my best to be colorblind, but in this case... being colorblind literally and metaphorically has made this map both interesting and completely useless.
yeah, this has a bit of correlation with the black population in general:
Is that normalized for population density?
