On a sorta related note. I recently made friends with a trans sex worker. I always had an issue with the SESTA/FOSYA bill that was recently passed. My new aquaintance was able to shed new light for me as to how this bill is dangerous for the trans community. Especially trans community of color.

Stick in there. The moves from a 1/4 to an 1/8 to a 1/16 are difficult, but honestly the hardest part is leaving the other stuff behind. Don’t worry, by the end of it, it’s not painful, you just feel gross. It’s totally doable! You can do it!

That poor woman couldn’t even go to the store without being attacked. My heart goes out and I hope beyond hope they find the man who attempted to murder her. May she get justice. It’s awful that she was put in a position where she needs it. That fucker did it despite knowing he was on camera.

For anyone out there who is about to claim this is her fault or make fun of her, etc., I advise you to watch this video from 2007. It explains it better than I ever could. I posted it on Twitter too, because I was getting so mad at people making light of this.

That comment section is the fucking worst. Racist, misogynist, judgemental and generally pretty trashy too.  Makes the YouTube comment section look kind.

Congratulations! A friend of mine went on Suboxone and has been absolutely stunned by what it’s done for her. She says it’s helped with focus, energy, even digestion. She’s written three business plans! Before it was all she could do to watch Netflix for twelve straight hours.

It can happen to anyone. Anyone.

You are doing amazing and I wish nothing but continued success for you.

Why does anyone? They already have a habit and can’t get any more scrips, and heroin is readily available and often cheaper then prescription drugs.

You can do it! Keep up the good work.

You know who abuses pain medication? People in pain.

Amen!  Suboxone is an amazing substance.  I kicked a decades long dope addiction with it.  I’ve been off the strips since about January and I feel great (although I will caution you to taper slowly and down to just the thinnest of slivers towards the end).

Of course they dont have to adhere to standards....theyre cops.

Just a heads up: if you’re prefacing your comment with some variation of “I don’t like her music, but …” you sound like an asshole.

As a social worker, I had a client die this way and it was devastating.

It’s not just rich people. I have close friends who recently lost their youngest child, a recent college grad with a decent job, from a stable, loving, close-knit family, to a fentanyl-laced overdose. Addiction does not discriminate.

Here’s hoping she finds her way to counseling and some Suboxone strips; they worked for me, and it’s been 2 years of good, clean decisions now.  Down to a half a strip a day, and hoping to get myself trimmed back to a 1/4 a day soon enough, then an 1/8, before I think I can probably be done completely.  They really

The fact that an emergency responder disclosed that she received Narcan - to TMZ, yet - seems a gross violation of her HIPAA rights. We simply should not know, and do not have the right to know about this. Shame.

Reading some of the comments on the TMZ article reminds me why I hate people in general.

Damn, I heard she had relapsed. Overdoses are common when someone relapses because they do as much heroine as before they got sober, but their bodies can't handle it. Hope she pulls through.
