In my experience, the worst Dick at Work is the Dick who does not understand that he is a Dick. I can deal with conniving or aggressive or mean. I cannot deal with the guy who thinks he is a really good guy, but will rant and yell and throw you under the bus every time something goes wrong.

Not talk about it. You can just do the right thing without telling everyone. That's not only for issues of racism, it's also just a general rule. You shouldn't need positive reinforcement for being a decent person. Just be one.
