Eh, we told all of you to stop doing slideshows but you’re not listening either.

I doubt they’ll stop with Christianity. So many myths to mine for profit. This has got to be so easy; a volume business like the tent revival.

This is 100% driven by a request a week before from the CEO of Delta Airlines:

Enough with the damned slideshows, especially when there’s 40 of them to go through.  Just list the stupid things and make it easy for your readers.

I’ve got you beat - I used to have an old one volume encyclopedia of my dad’s that mentioned Germany’s brand spanking new chancellor, Adolph Hitler. I’m thinking it was published in 1934 or thereabouts?

Another change Google appears to be making with Android 13 is giving users the ability to set languages on a per-app basis instead of having a universal language that’s set in the main settings.

There’s your problem - you put it on a high shelf, instead of the bottom to stabilize it. Especially true if you have one of those extra-tall narrow bookshelves.

Sure, passing the bill is great and all, but then someone has to actually go track these people down and...do something about it. Seems unlikely.

I can live with dishes in the sink. What I CAN’T STAND are floors that have like, a TON of crumbs and whatnot all over the floor, as well as sticky floors! PLEASE VACUUM (or SWEEP if you don’t own a vacuum!) and at least spot clean the sticky if there’s no time to mop!

Also been programming since 1981, professionally since 1995. I guess my laptop with 64GB of RAM (that happens to be close to 4 years old) is really obscene?

It’s easier once one recognizes that web browsers nowadays are not simple article retrieval tools anymore, but specialized virtual machines that run sandboxed applications on-demand.

You’ve been programming for almost as long as I’ve been alive and the 8 GB requirement isn’t so surprising to me. We have to remember that system memory requirements aren’t just what a particular program requires but also all the OS and potential multi-tasking overhead.

I am extremely dubious. Typical Li-polymer batteries do not like going any higher than 1C on a charge without doing memory, capacity, and discharge damage. The heat is important, but only part of the problem with recharging.

Is the fire extinguisher sold separately?

usually you have to pay extra for that kind of action, Cotton.

Exactly. The last woman in the picture looks NOTHING like the original. If they were trying to use this to depixelate a low res face for say...a crime, they’d be arresting the wrong person or no one at all.

Wouldn’t that be a kick in the pants. Almost like telling Hangouts “hey, look at what is happening AFTER YOU’RE DEAD.”

How long before apple adopts and takes credit?

Is it just me, or is the implication behind “joins the 21st century” that somehow android was behind on something? They have been trying to push this for years.

If you have to turn it on, it’s already failed.
