Well then, wat mutt dat mutt.
Well then, wat mutt dat mutt.
Agreed on the rest, but German Monty Python is just klamauk. No. That's some Mike Krüger-level shit, and not the one good LP he did. (You know, the one with Mein Gott Walther on it)
I would agree to this (see Jackie Chan, for example), but which recent comedy was slapstick?
It's pretty rare these days and improvised humor (the kind that's all the rage in America) doesn't seem to translate well either, so my personal observation is that everybody hates comedy movies and everybody loves…
And then apparently we hated Fawlty Towers so much, we made the intro a pratfall supercut set to the tune of
HOLY Roman Empire!
I love both of you.
Sorry it's hand-rolled. Because of the axis, I mean taxes. Taxes, you know.
*pulls own hair, stares at the ground*
Finally a chance to show y'all my expressionist silent movie!

Fancy a smoke?
To amend this, I think Germans like David Hasselhoff exactly for being good-natured enough to play along with this silly act, rather than still being infatuated with "I've Been Looking for Freedom".
I usually explain it as "dry gargling" to foreigners.
I've never had a problem with uncleared stuff on SoundCloud, but I'm more likely to chop up samples than to loop them, so I'm not sure if my case is helpful.
Quite a lot of established but independent labels that are wary of the Spotify model use Sound Cloud to promote their singles/EPs/LPs, so… actually you might be too young.
Hey, I'm not a big Pet Sounds fan either but putting just about anything up against Monk is just cruel.
Fully agree on the roughly 2/3rds I've heard (didn't even know about the Glasper-Ndegeocello connection though!) and will check out the rest.
That's… a GIANT spectrum. *laughs*
I think this is the first time I've ever heard anyone mention You've Got to Hide Your Love Away as their favorite, but now that I think about it, that's a really, really solid pick.
Animal Instinct is one of the best opening tracks of all times, isn't it? It helps that mid-90's Havoc drums are pretty much the best drums in all of music.
PE is in that shitty spot were people like to talk about them, but hardly anyone seems to listen to their music. I guess it's at least somewhat better than where, say, MC Shan is at currently. Does anyone cut "You love to hear the stories[…]" anymore?
I want to listen to the new Jay-Z, but I'll wait until it's freed from Tidal. As for Calvin Harris, is it worth a listen for someone who didn't enjoy the Schoolboy Q song? (And usually enjoys Schoolboy Q?)
