I seem to remember that her videos were usually the only ones that didn't get torn to shreds back in the Videocracy days. And hey, she used to post here too, which is clearly something only cool people do.

What kind madman doesn't love "Coming From Where I'm From"? That entire album is killer and I'm eternally thankful for this show introducing me to Anthony Hamilton.
Beat me to "Where Have You Been?" That song is such a gut punch. And then it gets kind of hilarious when you contrast it with Freddie Gibbs' take. Daddy, where you have been? Out here on the grind, getting mine, making stacks biatch! Um, okay.
I think Platinum just kind of became a studio that makes games funded by publishers looking to buy some prestige. And honestly I'm fine with that. I'd rather see them make games I can't play than stop making games.
Don't hate man, I'm making a killing off the ads! Easily distracted musicians with excellent eyesight is a premium demographic.
For today, I'm going with Shin Hashimoto's "Beluga", mostly because the upload seems to come from the artist himself so I don't have to feel about linking.
Disturbing imagery and some NSFW-iness ahead: http://youtu.be/PmruPqUe2FQ
I'll be optimistic and post my question that no one liked the last time around:
Teasers for movies in production often use music from other movies. If you had to advertise your game with another game's soundtrack, which song would you choose?
Oof. I honestly didn't know Brave was contentious, so sorry for bringing that up again, I guess? I haven't seen that many Pixar movies, so I'm not saying this is the one bad apple or anything. In this particular case, it might (to a degree) be because of misplaced expectations, i.e. hoping that at least some of…
I never have anything to say about your things, but I just want to mention I always find them fascinating to read. So, uh, how does that flower throwing even work? Do you bring them in anticipation or do you rush out and get a nice bouquet during the break when you like the performance?
Having recently watched Twin Peaks for the first time, I thought all of those soap-y elements were brilliant, precisely because they anchor the mystery in that fake TV reality. Soaps are strange, secluded worlds where nearly everyone is a psychopath with an ulterior motive and murders happen with alarming regularity.…
I kind of hate that Dracula, but I certainly wouldn't say it lacks insanity and dedication. If I remember correctly, all of the effects in that gorgeous scene where Reeves's character travels by train were done in camera. I'm 90% sure they actually built a giant book and put it in front of some train tracks. That's…
Hey everyone, hope you all had a nice weekend! I started with the thoroughly disappointing Brave. The jokes are so cookie-cutter and the life lessons so pat that I can't help but be mad at Pixar for completely neutering Steve Purcell. Even visually it's pretty boring with barely anything interesting going on in any…
Are you saying Mario is going to fold soon?
Nah, you're not. I think people's criticisms are usually on point, but personally I can't help but admire a role-playing game that actively punishes you for approaching it with the old D&D "kill monsters and level up" mindset. Not that I dislike those that adhere to it, I just appreciate it doing its own thing.
I was more of a Saber Rider guy myself, but Galaxy Rangers definitely had style and handful of very good standout episodes. I don't know why, but I never really got the mythology, though. Suddenly there were these Super Troopers, I think they were called, and I obviously knew that they were evil but I never really…
I can't speak for Japan, but between Gundam becoming popular and bringing a semblance of realism to mecha, Macross, Rumiko Takahashi at her height, Fist of the North Star, Matsumoto steadily working, and DragonBall, the '80s were also the birth of the OVAs. Add Gainax and Ghibli arriving on the scene (although the…
It's only half-French, but Mysterious Cities of Gold? That seems to be a huge landmark for an entire generation in France.
It's for that exact reason that it's weird to me how rarely anime comes up when it comes to influential TV we consumed as kids. I mean, World Masterpiece Theatre was one thing, but discovering Matsumoto and Franco-Japanese co-productions like Ulysses 31 at 8 or so is what opened my eyes to the possibilities of…
That's true… but also a really weird comparison.
Since you're getting 45-ish FPS, I'm assuming you have V-Sync enabled. That can sometimes mess with your inputs. Disabling it might be worth a shot.
