"A little"? But it's on a FOUR MBIT CARTRIDGE.

As a rational person, I like that they keep playing around with the visual style of the series. As an Internet person who wants to be catered to, I want them to look at the tons of cool styles from yesteryear and make a game with that. WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY. Kind of.

Eagle Shooting Heroes is a goddamn treasure is what it is. The cast is completely overqualified but everyone is so, so game. I have no idea how they managed to get something so thoroughly enjoyable out of what's essentially just a quick and dirty production to make back money lost by Ashes of Time going over budget.

Absolutely, Nakamura is the kind of guy where, if you're browsing a video game's create-a-wrestler movesets, you could immediately tell "Oh hey, that's Nakamura's stance/elbow/knee". Honestly, after a couple of matches I'd just go for the next PPV, because single matches are great, but PPVs are what makes a good

Nakamura is awesome and my favorite (even if his moveset is fairly limited and he's the most Sports Entertainment-kind of guy at NJPW). Tanahashi is a great allrounder-type main eventer who can carry pretty much anyone, Okada marries power and finesse, Ibushi is the rare amazing spot wrestler with strong fundamentals,

Oh crap. New Rev., you say? I'm down.

I was just trying to comment on Journey's idea of cyclical storytelling, so I wouldn't worry if I were you.

You're right, because Journey 2 already exists and it's called "Playing Journey again".

The old school-to-F5 counter is really all you need to know about the match. It's an encapsulation so perfect you could damn near consider it art.

THAT WAS TOO FAST. Does it help if I tell you that I thought Cena should've become wrestling Jesus and hug Bray and forgive his sins and through that emphasize their similarities?

Totally. I got spoiled before watching the match, and believe me, it just loooked like taking a dog out of his misery. No one's gonna rewatch this ever; it was truly awful. I wish they at least did this with Punk or whatever, not some part-timer like Lesnar.

Can I out-pretentious you for a second? Because I just watched it and thought it was infinitely clever that they chose to externalize Bryan's own fears through Steph like this (I realize the unfortunate implications if he had made her shut up some way, so I'm happy it played out the way it did).

I think what they were trying to communicate was that there'd be no more paid apps from now on, meaning everything's gonna be free.

So… GOATY?

Nah, YMO (=Yellow Magic Orchestra) and Tonto's Expanding Head Band are just other pioneering electronic music acts that rule and I threw in there in spite of them not being all that similar to Kraftwerk actually. But they do rule. But you probably already know that by now because the Internet is a pretty cool place.

Wait, so is it legitimately entertaining? You kind of make it sound legitimately entertaining.

So, none of them? (The last games I played were Ground Zeroes, Dark Souls 2 and, God help me, the latest Tomb Raider. I need a break from HIGH DEF PHYSICS SHADERS) I forgot to mention, I also dipped my toes in Wizard of Oz ~Another World~ Rung Rung, which seems like Affect's grab at respectability (they usually made

I figured as much. I already enjoyed the second half more, despite not really thinking it's actually stronger. I just felt that by then I had a decent handle on who Kane is and how he thinks, and seeing things play out inevitably as they do was more gripping for me than getting to know him. I assume the entire movie

Well, that's cool. My earworm for the week was Italy's national anthem for no reason.

I love them, but they're harder to get into than YMO and I find them less rewarding than Tonto's Expanding Head Band, so in retrospect they may look like they occupy a sort of awkward spot in the middle. Favorites? I'm firmly in camp Tour de France as far singles are concerned. I'd currently put Computerwelt as my
