I play my 3DS on the subway. Early adopter apology Wario Ware for short, Pushmo for medium, Final Fantasy Tactics A2 for long distances. If someone were to try to rob me, I could probably just redirect them to someone with a pricier smartphone or tablet nearby. Plus they all look like people with stuff to live for, so

That's true. Still, to me it sounds about as bizarre as the folks who got a 4S and proclaimed that no one would need to buy a DSLR ever again.

@GhaleonQ:disqus  Well, nowadays the sales look quite good so I'd think developers should be on board (then again, yeah, the same could be said about the Wii). It's noteworthy that Resident Evil: Revelations seems to be doing pretty well. That should serve as a sign that there's still a market for the a)

I suppose they just looked at Apple and figured "Hey, they can charge 80 bucks to upgrade your iPhone from 16GB to 32GB, so apparently consumers don't care."

What exactly are you talking about? The 3DS has just passed the 5 million mark in sell-through in less than a year, making it the fastest selling platform in Japan in history. Last week, 6 out of 20 games in the software charts were 3DS titles. That's pretty good, no?

Good one. There's also kind of a sequel to that intro on 8WM/Novokane (which is more of a Dres solo effort but whatever) that has Dres having a dream about having a hot crunk record out. We got caller ID!

How come no one has mentioned the classic "Interlude" by Keith Murray from It's a Beautiful Thing?

NO COMEDY

Well, anyone who got this on DVD or is planning to. This movie is up there with the likes of Blade Runner in terms of "Oh, this is why HD is such a big deal".

Fingers crossed for Princess Kaguya with a space helmet, Okami-style.

Do yourself a favor and go back and get it on Blu Ray. Seriously, this movie is breathtaking in 1080p. Same goes for Iblard Jikan, even though that's hardly movie.

But that's the beauty of the job system. When you feel you're overpowered, you just switch classes to level up some support jobs, hoping for a good secondary ability. Or you use the trainer to control monsters to learn new blue magic. When you get wiped in a boss fight, switch jobs to the most efficent setup you

What's important to me is that, at least in the demo, the higher difficulty setting is a blast. Ammo and health are extremely scarce, and many of the corridors are too narrow to run past your enemies. At the same time, monsters are far better equipped for melee than they used to be. This creates great tension: While

Yeah, everybody knows it's the third or fourth album that should be named only after your first name so you can go on about how this is your most personal album yet.

When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk to Lowe's to check out our great deals in the closets & storage section!

For what it's worth, synthesized voice technology nowadays sounds about as human as their real, Pro Tools'ed to infinity counterparts: http://youtu.be/w8NfWqhv7XI…
Sure, it's not perfect, but it can do vibrato! Vibrato! Like people used to do!

In the spirit of the AV Club, I was cautiously optimistic when they announced that they'd work with Teddy Riley. Then The Boyz actually happened. But yeah, Taeyeon alone is ten times more talented, interesting and genuine than Lana Del Ray, disturbing fanbase (Soshified) or not.

I just want to say that Jay Farrar is an excellent guy who has no problem putting you and your three buddies on the guest list when you go to a club without knowing there'd be a concert and you have no money for that. To reiterate: Excellent guy. Or maybe just really easily scared.

Sad to see he barely made the cut. Weren't we promised a kissing scene in the interview he did with AV Club Chicago or someplace?

Great idea. Also: Please archive all your stuff and make the old games playable for everyone (no, not necessarily for free). I can watch a movie from the 1920s but somehow I can't get a game from 10 years ago? The hell is that? Preserve your legacy, and not just already the well-known parts you WANT people to
