That’s exactly what it is. No one gets sued over a c-section resulting in a living and healthy baby. Meanwhile, every time there’s a huge amount of money awarded to a plaintiff, the reason given is that a c-section should have been performed (sooner). My sympathies are with the doctors on this.

I’m not disagreeing, but ultimately, none of those factors are a certainty. I was perfectly healthy, baby was perfectly healthy, I went into labor and it all went to shit. I didn’t smoke, wasn’t obese, no diabetes, liver or kidney problems, nothing. And it still didn’t matter. I didn’t dilate.
