Related reason: It is used by 100% of my corporate clients and potential clients and if I don’t have the same software they do, I don’t get the gig.

Fair enough. Thanks for the info.
So, clearly you’re either willfully obtuse or a troll, but I’ll give you one last response since I’ve got five minutes to kill before my cab gets here.
I mean, I understand they don’t get a full tune-up after each flight, but don’t they get at minimum an inspection that would require a mechanic for part of it? It just seems odd to me that a single plane would need four specialized mechanics pronto — because if it did, that sounds like a plane that’s going to be out…
Please recall the incident a few months ago where a guy did literally everything the cops asked, to the point that he was prone on that ground and they STILL shot him.
So, a) your analogy would make more sense if the situation was that I seated a diner, put food in front of him and then ordered him to leave and called the cops when he said no. And in that case, no, I would prefer to not have my other diners see a fellow customer dragged out forcibly with his head banged hard enough…
I think she mean the mob is the public criticism after he murdered someone in cold blood.
Trespassing -- especially in a case like this where the person is sitting quietly and not causing any other harm — doesn’t make it legal to use any amount of force you feel like with someone. Would you also support using pepper spray or a taser on this old man sitting in a chair? Maybe drugging him to sedate him and…
Why would they not have mechanics at an airport? Don’t they need them on hand anyway, given that, you know, they have airplanes there that need maintenance before they take to the skies with hundreds of lives on board?
This. My last two companies the rule was you had to take the lowest priced flight that was available during a given time frame (say, 8 am to 7 pm.). The one exception was that you could book a flight that was something like up to $50 more IF you were returning to work and it saved you more than two hours.
Yup. I’m flying way less than I used to, because the process is just hellish. We still travel, but we’re doing a lot more closer-to-home destinations that are doable by train or car.
That doesn’t mean I will never go to the West Coast or Europe again, but I’m going less often than I did in the days when flying didn’t…
I am not in the military, but I know a handful of dudes who were recently in it or who work for the Pentagon now. All of them are lifelong Republicans. All of them are utterly horrified by this administration and think it will get many people (American and foreign) needlessly killed.
I don’t know if it’s a consensus…
I get that is the scenario they are anticipating, but I just don’t see it happening, unless, like I said above, the disease is both very fast moving and truly lethal. Look how many idiots ignore public health warnings now because they just don’t believe what experts tell them. People send their kids to school when…
I’m trying to figure out just how bad the epidemic would have to be before we lost power and water. I’m thinking that shy of a fast-moving zombie-style (or similarly lethal) epidemic that’s just not going to happen in any industrialized country. Even with a severe flu, most people don’t die. And not everyone gets sick…
This. I actually thought Rob described it pretty well a week or two ago when he said that Negan seems to LOVE it when Alexandrians try to kill him. Because honestly, he does. He has ignored, if not rewarded, everyone who tried it so far. Which is utterly nonsensical coming from a dude who brutally killed two people…
Based on his Fear the Walking Dead recaps, it’s pretty clear Germain doesn’t actually watch the shows he recaps. Or, he watches them while also flipping through a magazine or something.
Thank you for translating the Heap-talk. Someone needs to tell the TWD writers that it’s helpful to have, you know, verbs and stuff, when you’re discussing a major plot point.
I have heard that and, frankly, it’s why I still bother. If I was going just on the strength of the show itself, I probably would have bagged by now.
The only thing I will say in their defense about Rick’s gut shot is that it did look to me like she just barely nicked him — it was more of a graze on his love handle than a true gut shot.
Who is Tamiel? I caught that line in the show, but had no idea who she was referring to.
