Yup. I’m still watching despite Negan. If they ever develop his character beyond “Ooooh.... he’s so bad. Very, very baaaaaaaad.” I might be interested. But that doesn’t seem to be in the cards.

Right. Also, him killing Carl for Rick’s betrayal makes total sense for his character. Wouldn’t he want to wait until the battle was over a) for his own safety and b) so he can get maximum PR value out of it? Rick and his own people were going to be the only witnesses. Wouldn’t he want the Alexandrians to see him…
Thank you. That shot reminded me of playing hide and go seek with my 3 year old. He likes to hide behind this one sapling which is skinnier than one of his tiny legs.
That omniscient streak of Negan’s is, I think, what bothers me most about him. I’m waiting for them to have a scene where he guesses Carnac-style what everyone in Alexandria had for breakfast, what their favorite TV shows were before the apocalypse, etc. It’s just silly how we never see him doing *anything* except…
I kept waiting for the tiger to take out Gabriel or someone like that. I can believe it being well trained enough to not go after other Kingdom people. I can even believe he might not attack Hilltop people like Jesus that he recognizes. But how the hell would the tiger know Rick & Co. are the good guys and Negan’s…
How could Dwight possibly not have known about the double cross? We’re supposed to believe that Negan had this entire plan in place and never mentioned any of the details to one of his top guys? But also still trusts him enough to bring him (and not kill him for going behind his back)?
Uh... did you watch the same show everyone else did?
Yup. Which is part of why it made no sense they didn’t the first time.
In the time given, was it at all likely that Oceanside would agree to a meeting? They literally had no time to even think about it. The Alexandrians can say all they want that they were hoping Oceanside would join them, but they did it in such a way that there was zero chance of that happening.
I mean, I guess it was open-ended enough that other interpretations are possible, but yeah, it seemed pretty obvious to me.
They do ask them. They say several times they would MUCH RATHER have them join up than take their guns.
I’m assuming at some point she remembers that she is wearing a necklace made with a piece of broken glass...
That was absolutley how I read it too.
Well, sure. That makes sense then. I mean, if I were very, very high, that would be a very reasonable explanation.
My incredulous was aimed at the writers, not you, fyi. I feel like they write themselves into so many corners for no reason.
but she’s had a decent number of moments as a secondary character
But they still don’t even know how big the Saviors are! He could have two dozen more outposts like the one they took out. Even if they are all in-fighting, that doesn’t mean there won’t be Savior groups capable of taking on Alexandria all by themselves. Negan’s group has enormously overpowered them every single time…
But why do it now before they have the other groups ready to fight? They are so close to finalizing a coalition, it makes no sense to take Negan out now and THEN hope that you can get everyone on board to fight the Saviors. If they Saviors are too strong for you now, they aren’t going to magically become half-strength…
Thank you. They seem to be assuming that Negan dies and all the Saviors just decide that now they are free to go on living in a hippie knitting commune or something and everything will be fine -- even though every bit of evidence we have so far indicates that, while there may be some discord among the Saviors if they…
Bingo. I had a conversation with an acquaintance recently when she started to explain all about the Illuminati, etc. The rest of us were just in stunned silence because up until now, she had seemed really level headed and normal.
