Right? It hadn’t occurred to me that Trump would be pissed if Pence did well (I just hadn’t really given this issue much thought) but once I saw the headline I was like, “Yes, of course that makes sense. He’s an unstable narcissist prone to self-sabotage. Of course he’d be pissed off his ‘lesser’ showed him up.”

For what it’s worth, I think a decent percentage of Republicans are voting for Trump on the assumption that once he’s in office Pence, Congress, etc., will somehow wrangle him in line.

Yup. I was thinking about this last night. The race was so tight when they managed to partially muzzle him for about two weeks. It totally could have gone either way.

It’s very ... compelling. It seriously feels like it was directed by a big-name director with exp. in psychological horror.

Nor the fourth or fifth. Actually none of them but maybe Ivanka... and even then ...

That is awful.

True. But you can only enforce an NDA if you know the leaker -- they can leak anonymously to reporters and still get their side out. We’re already seeing it now, which means there is def. more to come.

I am permanently, mentally scarred from it.

Were there actually 6? That’s hysterical. He is such a muthafucker

The silver lining to this shitshow of an election for me is the juicy tell-alls we can expect after he loses.

Third campaign manager and third wife! It’s his lucky number. (Except for that third and fourth bankruptcies.)

Freshman year the girl next door to us (and our dorm had thin walls) would play “Cheeseburger in Paradise” for hours at a time. Just that one song.

Yup! My MIL constantly has these high blood pressure episodes because of this. Or, alternately, she gets deyhrated, dizzy and falls and breaks something.

For us, it was the difference between buying a teeny tiny condo that would have had to been sold as soon as we started a family vs a still modest, three bedroom place with a postage stamp yard for the kid.

Totally. Will depend on the type, variety of butchers in your area. I’m lucky to live in a place with a thriving food scene and thus, access to lots of stuff that’s hard, if not impossible, to get in the ‘burbs.

Right. I inherited a little under $100k several years ago and people who know that act like I should be living like a damn Kardashian or something now.

I think what he’s getting at is that, yes, you can do a lot of practical things with $100k, but for instance, in your example, you pay off the debt — and now you’re a clean slate to start fresh, but you’re still in the same boat as most other people. You’re still going to have to work, save and deal with a variety of

This is a good idea.

Disagree on the cheaper part. My butcher sells it at roughly the same price (it fluctuates a bit, but never by much) as the local grocery store -- but the butcher bacon is 10x better in terms of quality. So it’s a better value even if not cheaper.
