We spent about ten years living in Amherst about a block from The Homestead and The Evergreens. I spent a lot of time reading next to Robert Frost at the corner of that block.

I’m buying this for my mom for her birthday.

Wait. What? Why?

I have literally never wondered (before now) if they ever cleaned the Muppets. Wow. I really hope they did.

I have so many questions. Tell us your favorite gossip.

Did you wash your legs or just let soapy water run down them?

This was played over and over at my grandma’s funeral (because she was from Florida, I guess). It was terrible and makes much more sense in a birthday setting, or any other setting that doesn’t include a corpse.

One of the more interesting aspects of getting old is that what used to be common knowlage in your youth isn’t any longer, despite the younger generation’s greater access to information. Especially when it comes to pop culture. When I was young, everyone knew John Lennon was a deeply troubled man with a wide nasty

I’m a feminist. But I still watch and enjoy Woody Allen movies. You can enjoy the art that shitty people make. Infact most people who make great things are usually pretty shitty people. I get if people can’t always disconnect though.

I know 3 kids in my area named Rocker, Six, and Satchel.

That was the biggest mystery of the show—not who was dead or who was the bully. It was (and still is) how the fuck that’s a name someone willingly gave their child.

I want to know what bar they were at in an earlier ep that had those kickass outside fireplace banquettes. None of the schools I went to or my daughter attended ever had anything remotely like a costume trivia night. There were tons of bake sales though.

Yep! Along with A Fish Called Wanda and Forgetting Sarah Marshall!

For last year’s “Knives & Concrete” themed trivia night.

You think that “we like to watch things together / I enjoy sharing this with my partner so I happily wait” = “we are one person with one brain”? The fuck is wrong with you?

The music selected for the show is A++.

I think at least some people are reacting to Bobby’s closing sentence:

Me too! This whole article I’ve been like, “How did I miss the big fake dick?!?!”

I watched this episode Sunday night and honestly did not even notice the dick out. It was such an intense scene and I think I was more focused on the faces.

I LOVED Kidman in To Die For. It’s one of my favorite movies.
