Friends don’t let friends buy german.

The massive depreciation (on most cars) is more than enough to make up on added interest or repairs.

You seriously think Toyota didn’t put on discs because it would be “too flashy”? OK

I rather go down Vail pass with 4 discs than drums. That’s the real world. Not a 1 time magazine test.

Tires/weight

I guess every car/truck manufacturer switched to all discs for no reason then. Toyota can do no wrong, especially to Taco fanbois. It’s to save money plain and simple.

You’re right, all the other truck/car manufacturers are wrong.

That would go with the rest of the truck for sure!

It’s absurd. No justifying it.

I rather have 21st century brake technology than a snorkel.

Sense or cheaper? A used car will always be cheaper (except for rare hard to get models). Cheaper 9 times out of 10 = sense.

Pedant? You’re using a unit that doesn’t exist.

And Tom still wonders if buying a used car makes more financial sense...?

I hate it when people say torques.

LOL, then no one knows how to tune it...therefore all the tunes are bad tunes...oh noes.

Ringlands are broken at the same rate on stock tunes on stock cars than tuned and modified cars. The data disproves your theory.

I wouldn’t trust it but more power to you.

Really name one?

A grand in pistons and then labor....it’s not cheap. Good for your father in law. To do it right it’s that much.

Look at the forums, the interior is a rattle can.
