So you have empathy for everyone with a tough life, but you can’t tolerate a typo?

Well you seem quite passionate about this topic... I appreciate the insult rather than a counter argument. Just another day on the internet.
You’re giving the theif too much credit. If people steal things, it’s because they don’t possess the mental aptitude to get and keep a job, or much less, the ability to measure the ethics of their own actions.
They say you shouldn’t do that unless the battery is below 25%.
Someone buy this man a chisel
Personally, I like a call on my off-day because it confirms that I am a necessity to the company. Of course, I can choose whether or not I want to answer it. I guess if I knew there were five equally qualified employees on the clock that day I would get annoyed.
At the end of the day, since there are no penalties…
A lot of vehicles (possibly all) have break-away pedals that either break or bend with the right amount of pressure. From what I understand, they are designed to not break-away easily, but just soon enough to keep your ankles intact. Unfortunately, I don’t know anything more specific so I can’t say if that’s the case…
I heard the quote in a Freaknomics podcast, sorry, but I can’t recall the original source. “Substitute nuance for novelty.” I wrote it on a business card and stuck it on the wall in my office.
Unfortunately, unless you personally hand it to a person-in-need there’s never a guarantee it will be properly handled. There was a room at a church I grew up in that seemed to collect loose donations (stuff that didn’t make it out with everything else). Between all the other church programs, there wasn’t a person…
Nobody will deny that there are plenty of nukes around to wipe humanity off the face of the planet. That being said, it is and always has been about show of force. Creating and maintaining nukes doesn’t say a whole lot, but when you publicize it you make a statement that you’re well equipped, and ready to launch at a…
I agree! I’m curious about this as well.
Just arguing off the top of my head here; I imagine being X floors off the ground could actually allow for equal, if not MORE security. When considering air space, I feel like New York City would already be blanketed with radar because of the multiple airports in the area. Air…
Even more equity lost by VW drivers. When will it end 2016?!
I’ve always wondered if Microsoft has considered the fact that windows explorer is a handful of features away from being the best note taking tool in existence. There’s already a way to tag files, but it’s not easy to access and/or query as I’d like. Windows allows unlimited levels of nested folders, and you can even…
They should make one for the nut on the underside of a sink drain. After a few years, the rubber seal and any putty cements the damn thing on. There’s no way to get them off without damaging another part. The parts are cheap, but I always seem to forget to buy extra parts at the hardware store before starting my…
Protects your neck from the sun. Damn good question. Originally, also the sun.
I’m curious, does it charge well? I only ask because some days my battery gets very low and I hook up a quick-charge battery in my car. I worry about losing that quick-charge and only getting a tiny trickle from the head unit. I’m chomping at the bit to get an Android Auto unit myself.
Thank you! Sure, bad things can happen to good people, but we’re far beyond that in this country. I think a person’s credit score is a good indicator of how accountable they are.
I know this is an automotive blog so you’re entitled to be ashamed from that standpoint. Otherwise, there’s nothing wrong with not knowing how to operate a manual. I’ve worked in the auto industry my whole life - a dealership today may sell 3 manuals a year out of the 1600 new cars they sell.
Ah, great info! Thanks
I lived in downtown Atlanta for two years and didn’t see too many cyclists, but I can say that the most stressful thing for me as a driver is the act of passing a cyclist. I have a serious spike in anxiety because my eyes/brain are trained to make maneuvers based on other large vehicles moving at…
Can someone help me understand this? If a cyclist needs that much space to be/feel safe, then why don’t they ride down the middle of the lane? Drivers only have a few feet to their left before they hit another car so sharing the lane isn’t an option unless you have a super-wide street.
