I live in North Carolina. I keep seeing the suggestion on this site that the ‘squat’ is a thing minorities do, but I just don’t find that to be the case. It’s pretty much always a white dude in wraparound shades and a beard…probably recording a video that starts with ‘know what those liberals just don’t get?!’

The worst mods for me are the mindless ones. Oh, you drove your Wrangler straight from the dealer to a shop to get 37" tires, spacers, the “angry” headlight covers, leds, etc., how original. Same with lifts, rolling coal, etc. I mean, if you just want to drive a stereotype...cool...I guess.

I had the same thought. Most of that list was harmless fun.

I disagree.  They shouldnt have the opportunity to pay for impound and service back to spec.  They can have it back as a cube on their front lawn.

“Carolina Squat” is stupid, the whole “stanced” look is dumb (and not exactly safe either, right?), but I reserve my highest level of disdain for any vehicle with an excessively-loud exhaust and their drivers who insist on forcing everyone to hear their crappy vehicle and pay attention to them.

Good point. In recent years, I have done some soccer practice runs. My observation is that soccer moms drive many more SUVs (including CUVs) than minivans.

I’m a hater of the new Supra and I’ll explain exactly why. I think Toyota took the easy way out in order to keep costs down. They road on the coattails of the Supra nameplate. Toyota has PLENTY of money so they could have made the thing purely in-house. Would it have cost more for them and then cost us more?…

Yeah, it’s really hard to tolerate complaints from bro-dozer truck owners about gas prices.

As an addendum to this, I always thought the Fox-body Mercury Capri was better looking than the contemporary Mustang:

The firebird was usually the better looking...but there were definitely a few instances where it was not.
