Im in the same boat. Had an Elantra with absolutely zero issues in 145k fairly abusive miles, followed by a Kia Soul that went trouble free before trading it in at 20k. However... looking at how they’re handling these issues has made me go to Toyota and I can assure you, I won’t be back.

Strangely, at the one near me, they list what they pay (I think “up to” is in the fine print). They were listed stupid rates. Like, “maybe being an engineer is a bad career choice when Buc-ees is hiring cashiers.” sort of rates.
Absolutely agree. I was all about Buc-ees until I learned about who they are and how they treat their employees. The last time I went, I paid $15 for a “brisket” sandwich that was mostly fat.
