Thank you Gosh and his son Jeepers!

BAAAAABE WAAAIT. BABE. WAIT. BABE WAIT. BAAAAABE

I must say, in many ways Springfield really beats the old slave-labor camp.

I think overall I have the fondest memories for Slippery Slope, while I liked the whole series I kept going back to that one. I remember thinking that the picture of the three kids at the start of every book was really interesting in that one because Klaus and Violet were in fencing masks, but to my ten year old mind

"You uh…dropped your Dino Damage."

The Martian Vs. Aliens: Prometheuses

Cmon, eat the pennies! They're just pennies, so you poop pennies! Big deal.

They've had a lot of problems with animation studios closing and staff turnover between for the last few seasons. Combining that with the two doing a lot of the work probably doesn't help.

"Ah, the Stanza! Doug's gonna kill me…"
"Who the hell's 'Doug'?"
"My daaad…"

It was weird timing too because he was still talking about the stories he had for two more Mad Max stories pretty recently.

I was ten years old and just started watching wrestling with 2003 Smackdown, maybe it's nostalgia but I have fond memories of ABA Undertaker.

“I’m not really interested in doing a sci-fi film, but there’s one thing in particular that I would be interested in,” Tarantino told Lane Brown in outtakes from the pair’s interview in the latest issue of New York. “I can’t tell you what it is, though, because I would literally be telling you exactly what it is. I think you nailed it. I remember him saying he couldn't make Serenity "matter" without killing off a character, and I feel like he puts that mindset in a lot of his writing. Except like you said his deaths are basically character hostages.

I would love this.

"At this moment, I expel a minor traveler's flatulence (sorry), and with it, I experience the same chivalry he'd offered when putting Kate to bed, as he pretends not to notice."

It might be that he jokes without changing his tone, making it hard for people to read if he's kidding or not.

A Stormtrooper getting a call from a general and reporting it to Darth Marenghi: "Uh-huh. Bye! Good gravy! A small bunch of X Wings are flying of their own accord in E Wing. *Picks up phone, then puts it down immediately* And apparently more rebels are heading this way! *looks at phone, stuttering* Good…bye."

The process of planning and writing for Martin is incredibly interesting to me, and I think you're spot on here. I don't think he's figured out a way to make the middle act work after scrapping the five year plan.
