I feel barfy after reading this.

Rey does make mistakes though. She’s not perfect.

Not only did that give me the resolution to stuff I’ve been waiting for since I was a child, it was also brilliantly written and full of so much heart. Wonderful job by Craig Bartlett and crew.

Watching the first Rocky is Thanksgiving tradition with my family!

This episode had an almost Fringe-y vibe to me.

I almost thought there was some Avatar related comment war and they had to shut off comments.

There was a discussion on here last year I think about how different movies would turn out, and I wondered what a George Lucas directed Avatar would look like. Having a big gang of kids (as the new main characters?) seems like the first thing Lucas would write down for Avatar.

I got real emotional at Hollyhock saying “I’ve never had a brother though!” All this season she’s been saying she doesn’t need a father figure, and Bojack gets to realize he doesn’t need to be one. Hollyhock could be his turning point in life to get better.

A lot of Dragon Ball Z aesthetics tonight.

I’m happy about this, I think this is best for IX.

Anna Fitzapatrick: “Bojack Horseman is not just a wacky show about talking animals, it’s actually an incredibly real and honest look at what it’s like to fuck a dog.”

I completely agree, it’s kind of become a go to disqualifying criticism when it isn’t really truthful. It might stem from the notion that originality is a mark of quality no matter what, and the opposite means it’s automatically bad.

Feels like the season’s picking up steam now (or rather is lining up better for what I want out of the show). This was a classic.

This first ep was so dense with jokes, I loved how rapid fire it was.

Best news all day, I seriously feel relieved. I just kept thinking about that stupid long kill in Jurassic World and worried something similar would be in IX.

"Well, thinking about those ideas is enough writing for today. And this whole week, really."

I'm picturing it being like that Bob's Burgers scene where Bob asks Tina to show her "everything's okay" face.

Yeah I was expecting full Luke finding out Darth Vader is his father level of "NOOO" not that reaction from her.

Finally! Let's hope it's based on the hit Xbox classic, "Obi Wan", featuring Obi Wan doing a Star Wars version of the Trainspotting choose speech.

It did seem a bit conveniently timed after a week or so of "Nolan is open to directing the next James Bond" articles.
