I read a rumor the next one will be a sort of send off for the longtime writers/owners before they sell the property (to Warner Bros?). Which could mean Tom Hardy Bond directed by Nolan is coming after that.

I was trying to pinpoint what bugged me about it so far and that structure might be it.

The first was really fun, hopefully this one matches that goofy tone.

"I'll get you next time Avatars, and if I don't you just wait for my twin brothers!!"

The Brolin thing is interesting but I also want to bring up this quote from Cameron this week:

Apparently he's back for all 4 sequels too.

Gimme a book accurate TV show. This isn't a series that can really work as a movie series honestly. I gotta see Blaine adapted on TV just to see how they do it.

DALE: "So, did you get a chance to read my short story?"
BOOMHAUER: "I… well, man, you know, actually… I had… you know… dang ol' stuff to do…"

"Bobby…I love you."
"What?!"
"Nothing!"

Time for Stella season 2 Netflix!

Logical half of my brain is like "last few seasons were eh do you want more?" and the other half is like "THAT'S MY PURSE"

I eeugughh'd at Rick's therapy monologue but then the therapist got to monologue right back at him.

I've always described it as a series with as much that I loved and as much that I couldn't stand.

I still have my fingers crossed for a TV version, since that seems to be a more common next step after failed book adaptation now.

After a long time daydreaming about a Dark Tower movie, this whole week has felt like Farnsworth getting his back bent and saying "I'm sad now"

I read Save the Cat in my screenwriting class, so I think I can write at least a Cursed Child level of quality script!

Let me write it instead! I have no professional experience but hey what could go wrong? I won't make it a time travel story…

This whole thing is making me sad. Dark Tower is better suited to TV but if the movie is really bad I don't know if I want that team working on the TV version. I think the worst is I got hyped for an adaptation so when I see people on other sites gleefully talking about this movie being SO BAD I'm like "no….maybe

I've been preemptively depressed about it for a couple weeks.
