I feel with all the Lost comparisons I should really check this out. It was even recommended to me the same way I found out about Lost, someone in a class just raving about the storylines in the show.

Season 6 (last I heard at least) will be 10 with the 10th being an hour long. Season 5 was 10 ordered episodes but they decided to air one early, as well as do an hour long premiere, which ended up making the season feel SUPER short in addition to running out of time before the real finale which aired this year.

Yeah Star vs. is really great, they keep hitting these jokes that have kind of a demented sense of humor, and the show is filled with Sailor Moon references so that's a bonus for my girlfriend.

If it makes you feel better it sounds like Jackson and Doc have a story for Season 7 in mind and are hoping to get it done sooner than S6 which had a lot of staffing issues.

Agree with the Chosen One thing…I'm not sure when Lucas decided that Star Wars was the "Saga of Anakin Skywalker" or whatever he calls it but it just really treats the heroes of the original trilogy as…kind of afterthoughts.

I remember the first night I saw it, the movie theater lighting really made the Dooku vs. Anakin lightsaber fight look really cool. Then the people in front of us went absolutely crazy for Yoda, even chanting "YODA YODA YODA" when he started fighting.

Yeah that just came across as "Look how pointless war is. The very thing Katniss began the fight for didn't even make it through." Which…I don't know. I feel like we got the point in better ways earlier. The book needed more time in the proverbial oven.

The ending was the only part of Mockingjay I really liked honestly. The rest felt like a first draft to me.
